Note: this video uses digital stamps no longer available. I’ll be working on revamping them and making them available on my teaching site later in 2021.
No line coloring has been a fluctuating trend over the last few years; I’ve tried it once or twice, and thought I’d give it a try again!

I decided to use a Cosmos digi to create today’s cards, and started off just printing the images to color.
But when I got to that step – whoa – the lines on the enlarged flowers became crazy thick! Big disappointment. So I got out my light box and did a pencil tracing instead, and suddenly realized I could do that with watercolor too! (If you don’t have a light box, try putting your papers against a window. During the daytime, of course!)
With Multiliner pens I’d recommend choosing a stamp line that you use a lot, and figure out which pen is the right width of pen will match them. Then you can always fix a little goober if you need to. And if you’d like to download a free cheat sheet so you can see what sizes best match up, I put together a quick pdf: Multiliner Widths ….make sure you print it at 100% so the line widths stay the same. (Read below for a pen giveaway!) (Ohmygosh is this a long post!)
I’m going to see if I can find any of these Chrysanthemums for my garden – they’re just so pretty! HERE is the photo I used for my color inspiration!
For my cards, I added them to simple black card bases, stamped a 2-part sentiment and tied on some ivory May Arts silk ribbon—it just adds an elegance to it, and also covers that white space in my design without detracting from the flowers.

The watercolor version came out just lovely too!

You do some great colouring. I love the no line colouring and I hope to try it.
Simply gorgeous!
Sadly, If I get 6 days to craft a month I consider myself lucky! But they will be good days!
Gorgeous cards Sandy! Loved the copic colored one just a little bit more. 😉 I hope to get at least 10 days of the challenge in. Haven’t done anything like this before. I know it’s only day 2 but I’m really enjoying this!
Beautiful,no-stunning cards!!
Some day I’ll take part in the 30- day challenge, but sadly, not this month as my challenge is getting myself to work everyday (as I dream of retirement and card challenges). Love the flower on the card. Even though cosmos are not part of our South Texas annual wildflower show, the colors you’ve used remind me of my favorite wildflower, the Indian Blanket. Since it’s hot now with nary a bloom to be seen, it’s nice to think back to how it was a couple of months ago!

Wow both turned out so beautifully, each with it’s unique character!! Thanks for the inspirations!
Hi Sandy, What are the numbers of the paint brushes you used?
I think it was a #4 throughout. I was in a hurry and don’t think I changed brushes :0)
Beautiful cards! Thanks for the inspiration and chance to win.
I live your video. And love the white coloring.
I predict I will color daily. I kinda live by the rule if I have to clean something I can craft something. 🙂
oh, boy! you always challenge my skills! the watercolor card is so yummy! thanks for the give away and I’m hoping to color at least 10-15 days.
I will try to check in EVERY day … there is so much to learn and so many fabulous projects to see.
I plan on trying to color daily, but realistically may only get half the days. Up for the challenge though! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous cards Sandy, you’re work is so beautiful! 🙂
So amazing colors!!! Beautiful!!!
Amazing! I am going to try to colour at least 10 of the days.
Wonderful…….I’ve never used digi…..your colors are excellent.
Loved the video. Thanks for sharing your awesome talent with us. This time I am hoping to do it every day. Last time I missed a few days because of my daughter’s health. Hopefully everything goes well this time 😉
Always enjoy visiting you and seeing your videos…beautiful colouring. I plan to join in about 4 times in the next month.
I loved the video!
Another great set of coloring wonders! Thanks, Sandy! I really enjoyed the first 30 Day Coloring Challenge. I would like to say I will participate for 30 days this time…I said I would *like* to say, but realistically, it will probably be more like 25 days.
The Butterfly & flowers are bee-utiful. Bright & cheerful. I’m thinking out of the 30 days I can color 10 days.

Gorgeous cards, Sandy. Would live to see more colouring using the water colour set, because the colours in your set resemble my Windsor and Newton set, which could surely need a little love.
I intend to do a lot of colouring this month, but I’m aiming for at least 20. I’ve already covered day one, so I’m off to a good start.
Thanks for the give-away, Sandy! I did pretty well with the first challenge — I think I made it about 25 days in (then school got too busy). This time I’m at the end of the quarter and will have about 2 weeks before the summer session starts, so I predict that I’ll make it all 30 days! I’m not putting any pressure on myself to actually FINISH cards — I’m only focused on the coloring part. But I hope to have a stash of images finished so that the cards go quickly (actually got TWO Christmas images done yesterday). (This is how committed I am — I was up at 8am to get chores done so I had some coloring time before heading to school! Yay for me!) lol
I will probably get about half done- 15. I have some travel time coming this month!! YEA!! Love your card and the video. As always it was very inspirational.
lovely card – it looks so amazing and I learned so much from you!! Thanks so much for sharing tips and hints!!
I forgot to say that I hope to get at least 20 days of coloring in!!!
Just beautiful!
I love your coloring. The cards are so bright and beautiful and full of happiness.
absolutely stunning cards!
You inspire me so much! Those flowers are truly amazing, Sandy! Gorgeous work! ♥
i can honestly say I can join for about 15-20, but not at the level you color at… lol
now, I am being real honest…
You are a genius with those copics Sandy! Love the cards, and LOVED your @harlowandsage drawing! Also, I am going to try to keep up with the entire 30 days, but I’ll be happy with myself if I get 15-20.
Absolutely beautiful. I’ll shoot for 5 days.
SO! Gorgeous!
Not sure if I will get any done as this month is beyond hectic for me. Daughter having minor surgery and a family reunion. Then getting ready to move for the second time this year.
Love to watch and learn from your videos. I’ve been trying watercolors and loving it–hope to play at least an hour every day this week while it is raining.
Definitely watching all the videos. I’ll be stamping and colouring approximately 10 days.
This is so pretty! I love watching all of these coloring videos!
This is beautiful! I am hoping to participate in a minimum of 10 days. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot, but it would be a LOT of coloring for me! LOL!
These are both very beautiful! I love the colors you did the flowers…so very pretty. I hope to be able to do every day. I love to color. I did however realize that you need to post on Instagram so I guess I will have to break down and learn to do that. I’ll have to get my teenager to help me. Thanks for a chance at the pens! Hugs, Robin
Beautiful! Both versions look so pretty! I know I can’t colour every day but I’ll probably join in 4 or 5 times.
So beautiful Sandy!! TFS
I am definitely going to do all 30 days of the challenge!! I made it last time and plan to this time also!! Since the last challenge I have been coloring every day so it has become habit to do a little bit each day!
LOVELOVELOVE this brilliantly colored creation! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! I can hear the Angels singing in joy! TFS!
I would love to be able to craft and color everyday, but life has a way of getting in the way. However, I am setting my goal to color at least 20 days out of the 30.
My goal is to color every day of the 30 this time. Last time I only did about 6 days.
I am hoping to join in at least 5 days a week with the challenge. I’m a little shy about posting pictures of my work, though. It probably would help me maintain the energy level if I did. Love your work — such a joy to watch.
I’m going to try for 10 days. 30 would be fabulous. I have markers, pencils and ink all around so who knows?
I think I can probly get in about half – 15 days.
I love all your videos and have learned a lot.. My plan is to color all thirty days- don’t know if i’ll make it but if I plan for less it will be too easy to put it aside and get none in. If I get anything in that’s already ahead of last time. TFS
I would love to do 30 days, but my to do list by 4th of July is overwhelming. With that being said I hope to be able to do 3 days this time. Lovely card. Thanks for a chance to win.
