Sometimes ya gotta love CAS cards that are florals AND have an easy technique – because who doesn’t love flowers, right? This “negative” coloring technique isn’t negative at all…just color around the stamps!

I made a set of these with slightly different layouts, just turning the flower stamp different directions and stamping the sentiments in different places.

For some, the secondary sentiment is stamped directly at the bottom…

…other times just one sentiment will do…

…and of course dimensional adhesive for a secondary sentiment adds a little something special to the card!

Love your videos and all the sharing you do. Thank you. Beautiful cards today.
Very lovely simple cards. Thank you for sharing your technique and crafting story.
Sandy, you inspire me! I am fairly new to art and cardmaking and have been watching your videos for a little over a year. Love them! You give such great tips on coloring and layouts that I too get inspired. Loved you story about getting involved in “crafty things”.
I love your videos, they show me I can actually do it. Beautiful cards.
Love this idea for clean and simple cards!
Beautiful! Love this technique!! Thank you!
I like how you show how you can use stamps in different ways – even something so simple as orienting the stamp in different directions for using different colors. (And, of course, different scenes!). I tend to fixate on one way, one way to color a stamp. Your creativity encourages me to think a little differently. Also – I am trying hard to have the patience to work with color pencils. I like the look, but it takes forever. Ha.
WOW.. looks so easy.. yet I can tell it is not! Stunning card set..
I love how you change your mediums from card to card, and I love when you use pencils. There is something so relaxing and yet magical when I watch the card come to life as you color.
Nice story of how you got into crafting. By the way, you still “give” because you provide these awesome card tutorials that inspire so many crafters. Thank you for sharing your gift and talent.

You always surprise me with where you go with the use of different media’s. I really take to heart good things you say and think about them. I totally agree with you that what is the sense of making cards and such if you can’t give them away esp to encourage someone. Love your sharing your life stories too.
