I believe I’ve seen some cell phone types of dies before – but this is more of a DIY kind of project – I created my phones with rectangle frame dies – and markers! The stamps with these kiddos in them is by Hero Arts – and it’s a fundraiser set in their Unity collection!

Supplies for this project are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links may be used at no cost to you.
The people stamps are up to you – or you could do pet stamps or whatever you’d like in yours. I’m going to see if I can pull this off with a photo to use for my sister’s birthday card. Shhh don’t tell her!
The sentiments for these could be stamped on the background, but if you do crazy textures like me, well – that just might become unreadable! I chose to stamp them on white and use a hole punch to cut them out.

These are the skintones used for all the children in these cards:

The dark wood is my usual go to for tables; easy to do, and it’s nice and rich so I could heat embooss the sentiment.

I tried a more blonde wood this time – more rough boards than usual!

And marble, for an idea for my Hex Art class students!

Sandy, these are absolutely wonderful cards! Can’t wait to try this. I don’t do copics but I think I could try to watercolor them. The last person I did a selfie with was my sister-in-love a week ago as we were packing up her son’s apartment, we were exhausted!
Your cards are so sweet and timely. As always, your coloring is amazing. I don’t have an iPhone (I’m old!), so I’ve never “selfied” with anyone, but my son sends me selfies of him and my grandchildren from time to time. I miss them so much and I’m getting tired of “virtual” hugs — I ache for real ones!
Your cellphone cards are amazing. You created the backgrounds as if it was so easy! I wish I can recreate even just one of them. Very nice cards.
The last selfie I took was with my dog Chewey!
My most recent selfie was me with my new 3 month old Yorkie puppy, Maggie. Dogs are super special friends. Love all that you do with your Copics. Thanks for the opportunity to win these awesome stamp sets.
The last selfie I took was with my dog, who is never away from my side. As far as the last person it would have to be my daughter. I took a selfie with her the day she left for College for the first time. I was not able to go with her, due to a disability. I love when you color people from all ethnic groups. I am always intimidated by coloring people, but I really would like to practice more at coloring them.
Actually my latest selfie was a couple weeks ago. When my husband and I celebrated our 30 year Anniversary at a local winery.
I so enjoy your videos and I’m learning so much. Thank you.
Your creation of cell phones is perfect! Would never have thought to do something like that. My last selfie was with my beautiful great niece who is 15 months old. ❤️
I want to join your classes but can not get the links to work on my ipad. It says the website can not be reached. I need to learn how to use color and know nothing about layering colors. You have it perfected. Ive searched youtube for over a month and found you. Your are the best teacher and I live your talks. Especially on the racial divide and what we can do to be a change. Thank you so much.
That’s weird—I heard someone else say it didn’t work on their iPad. No idea why? Try https://art-classes.com
Awe inspiring creativity, Sandy. Love this wonderful stamp set!
Last selfie was with my BFF pre-pandemic.
These are so amazing-these stamps and sentiments are so special! Love how you created a unique scene using your copics!! Thank you!!
Fantastic coloring job and as usual your amazing creativity shines threw with the cell phone idea. These stamps remind me of my grandkids who love being in my craft room and playing with all my stuff. Their creativity is amazing because like all children they just create and don’t overthink stuff. Love your idea of using a real photo for someones birthday card. The last selfie I took was of me and my husband on his birthday! Thanks again for sharing you talent.
The cell phone cards are very special and the sentiments that go with the children are right on. I never get tired of watching you bring faces to life with the copic coloring and shading!
Wow, Sandy! These are fabulous, you always have such amazing ideas to share with us. I would love to win a set of the stamps, you are always so generous with your sharing and caring. Thanks for all you do.
Susan
You do it! You do it! You do it! You fuel us up with ideas, not to copy, but to build upon. Fab cards.
Thank you Sandy for all these great teaching videos even the small tips from you are a big lessons in Art .. what I have noticed from all your videos is how different you think and this is where your unique taste appears, you actually teach us how to think .. thank you very much.
Love, love, love this idea! It’s so creative. Regardless of whether I win or not, I definitely will get the Kids United stamp set! Thanks for the inspiration, Sandy!
Love the cell phone idea! Small and simple enough that even a beginner like me can give it a go!
Love the cards. Selfies are few and far between. My last one was with my husband and our new grandson. One of those greatest days ever.
I love playing with my copics. I still feel very sloppy when using them. Practice, practice, practice.
Selfies???? Although my “slider” phone has a camera it’s not very good. So no selfies. Love this idea. As always you inspire. TFS
I love these stamps from Hero Arts, and the cell phone idea for displaying the ‘photos’ is very cool.
Absolutely adorable and soooooo creative! Amazing job Sandy. The last person I took a selfie with was my youngest daughter, Elsa.
I love all Of your Projects and your ideas are always awesome .
Sandy, these cards are absolutely adorable! Love, love, love the stamp set with the children, they are so stinking cute. Thank you again for sharing your talents with us. God bless!

Another amazing video! I really love all your projects. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us untalented people.
What a lovely stamp set! Your art is always beautiful. Your thoughtful layouts and coloring always shine. The last person I took a selfie with was my granddaughter! Thanks for a giveaway!
Hi Sandy! You make the bestest cards! I always love the backgrounds you create. This is a perfect set to have for a grandma of seven, five of which have their own cell phones. The last selfie I took was with my sweet sweet furbaby, Lucas. He is an English Cream Golden Retriever who turned 11 in July & he holds my heart. Thanks for your generosity in this giveaway, & I know someone, (maybe me?) will be delighted to win.
OMG… Those cards and stamp sets are so adorable!! The last selfie I did was with my youngest daughter when we went to the beach two weeks ago.
your art is amazing. I love the cell phone idea.
Great idea, Sandy – thinking outside the box. Love the theme of the stamp set.

Wow, wow, wow! Always so inspiring and beautiful! Such a generous giveaway of a fantastic stamp set. Thank you for the opportunity! The last one was with my best friend YEARS ago, I don’t like selfies of myself.
Love how these turned out Sandy! Thanks for sharing yet another amazing way to use the Unity Collection!!!!!!
Hello Sandy! I am not the artist you are but I do occasionally like to make a card and I love love love watching your videos!! My daughter is always taking selfies with me when we are out. She just took one last week when we went to see a local musician.
Yet another wonderful, sweet idea for a card! Thanks for constantly sharing your ideas for inspiration. I would love to try copics some day, but for now I do everything in either watercolor or colored pencils. I also own pastels but don’t really know what I’m doing – do you have any videos for pastels?
Anyway, thanks for the chance to win some stamps! God bless.
Awesome idea!!! Super cute.
Thank you Sandy for this wonderful idea and the giveaway! I love it when you show how to make relatively simple backgrounds that can be used in so many different ways!
Hoi,Sandy,What a inspiring cards you made Children are the great examples for the grown ups If they can play together in unty we can do it to. My selfie I made was yesterday with the cats Angie and Sammy. My daughter is on a short trip a few days,I take care of her two cats, and we are having so much fun.
These are so dang cute! Very creative! And the tip about the faces …. I needed that. Very new at alcohol markers so I soak up any tips I can get. These sets are adorable… so much you can do. Thanks Sandy! You just keep me shaking my head at your talents and abilities! Blessings to you! ♀️
Your work, as always, is so awesome and inspiring! I watch all of your videos and dream! Alas, I am probably one of the last people in the world to NOT own a cell phone so I have NEVER taken a selfie but if I did it would undoubtedly be of one of my grandchildren or brothers.
Hi Sandy , thanks for sharing such a great new idea ! With modern technology today, I never would have thought to make a cell phone card like this . I definitely will use this technique !
Forgot to comment , last selfie was with my hubby with Lake Mead in the background !
These are so great. I love people stamps. I last selfied with my little dog who has now died. That is a very special picture and he was a very special companion for 10 years.
Sandy I love this set and watching you make the kids come to life was awesome. Every time I watch you I learn to do something new with my copics. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. Last person I selfied with was my darling hubby!
I have no idea if this giveaway is international as I am in the UK but I will leave a comment regardless because I appreciate your work Sandy! :O)
I’m mostly bed bound so selfies with others are a rare occurrence though if memory serves me right, I believe the last selfie I had was with my (grown up) daughter about 2 years ago. This really highlights that I should get a new one done with her – so now that will be a priority.
Thanks Sandy
Oh wow, you make colouring always look so easy, and I love how these cards turned out. I have to confess, I never make any selfies, although I did try it once, with hubby, who was not amused…

Sandy, I am always mesmerized with the scenes you create around a single stamped image! I Especially loved the cell phone cards, not only for the creativity, but also you used basic supplies, and not a designer die set for the phone. You inspire me.
The last selfie I took was with my miniature pincher, Sadie.
Oh boy! This is one of your ideas that my imagination just wants to run with – so many ideas about ways to use the “selfie” theme… Love the kids, and that stamp set, too – Thank You!
These are awesome! I know that word is over used but these are awesome! Last person I selfied with was my grandson, and he is in constant motion, so it wasn’t easy! Lol
As I listened to you describe how you did the fabulous cards, I had such a relazing feeling and yet you instilled inspiration in me too. How do your do that?
Well Sandy…..you can guess my age with this reply!
My last selfie (and perhaps -only) selfie was 2 years ago with my granddaughter when we were picking rhubarb. We wore rhubarb leaf hats and looked very silly; but that’s the whole idea right? lol
Love your cards and fine art very much.
I don’t have Copics to do this lovely colouring but try with Tombows. Difficult to achieve the subtleties.
