Color a cozy fireplace
Since we’re good friends by now…I thought cozying up to a fireplace together would be fun this week. Rudolph with a present on top just cried out for it with that sweet sentiment. Grab a cup of something warm to drink and settle in to watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

Sandy, this is just precious. Love the image and what you have done with it. inned to try!
I definitely need more practice, lots and lots of practice. I also need to be more loose and not to make everything perfect at the start. thanks Sandy for all the inspiration that you give us

What a cute card! I really love watching you do all these awesome backgrounds. The “roaring” fire in this one just makes the entire scene. I have learned so much from you! Thank you so much for sharing, Sandy. I can’t wait to see what you’ve got up your sleeve for the next post!
Omg he is so cute. Wish I could color like you. Especially water color with those ones that you sprinkle. Love them.

When I grow up I want to do shading as well as you.

I love this card and all that you do! TFS< Annette
It is as you say, the eye completes the image you introduce in your “sketchy” coloring. I don’t think it looks sketchy, I think it looks amazing. Before I started the video, an instant thought was, what stamp is that in the background. You are an incredible artist. Thanks so much for a great video and design idea.
WOW! This is amazing! I love that adorable little fellow! XX
Can’t wait to see the video! When will SB post it? Neither of the links show it yet. The card is cute & your coloring is always amazing.
Best background yet!
You’ve shown me how adding a background can elevate a card. It always amazes me the impact it has. Question – how are the cats adjusting to the 2 new family members. So darn cute!
Dear Sandy, you are such a Blessing in the lives of so many! I wouldn’t be brave enough to try any of the art you so generously take the time to teach us, if it wasn’t for you! Your mind is a wealth of talent & knowledge and I learn something new every time you share!
Many Blessings,
Melitta
You are an amazing artist. Love this card. The details are beautiful.
Adorable! This rudolph is so cute and what a fun image to color! You have again outdone yourself! Thank you for another wonderful video, I get so much inspiration from you, and have become a copic coloring addict also!
What an AWESOME look!!! Its great you always seem to have a known scene before color hits paper and love your helpful hints. TY for sharing these backgrounds and I look forward to seeing many more this season.
So cute and adorable. Your coloring is awesome.
This is so cute! I just love that reindeer….and the fireplace…wow! It’s amazing to watch you work!
Rudolph looks like he was just warming up by the fire, closed his eyes for a few…when he felt something. His eyes flew open “what’s this he says”….someone had snuck up and placed a gift box and decorative ornaments on him…Rudolph is such a ‘dear’ Lovely work Sandy I really admire what you do and you are an encouragement to all of us.
So amazing. I love this card.
