Realtime coloring is something I don’t do often for….well you’ll see in today’s video. I had trouble coming up with enough to talk about all that time. Especially because I couldn’t watch the video while yapping. ha! Hopefully watching the coloring of “Hada” digital stamp from Sweet Escape Digis will be worth it!

Video
Watch the video below or click HERE to see it on YouTube.
Colors
On the left, skin and clothing colors. On the right: just the hair!
I do love how this came out! The background is from one of the lessons in Winter Copic Enchantment, so it wasn’t included in the video.

The look on her face makes me wonder what she’s thinking….got ideas?

Sandy, I am mesmerized watching you color the fairy’s hair. I cannot believe all the colors you use and yes she is absolutely gorgeous when you have finished her completely. I’ve loved watching you now for several years and your video’s are a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing.
This is stunning Sandy!
Ha! Love your caption for her. She IS a bit sassy
Freakin’ amazing! The fairy’s eyes, her hair, the wings….WOW! I am amazed by your brushstrokes and how the tiniest bit of color in just the right place can make such an impact. Your use of the violets in the skin tone is brilliant! The oval with the image peaking out the edges was a great choice.
I think she is saying “don’t hate me because I’m beautiful” 🙂
I am in the dark on how to print digital images. How do you prevent the ink from smudging? Can you print on Neenah 80# paper? Can you print on Bristol? How do you center image or change the size? I think you need a whole class on using digital images! Thanks (in advance)!
Well, I haven’t done a class on digital images because nobody has the same printer, computer, software… And there isn’t just one recommendation for any of it. Most people will never buy the expensive software I own as a designer…
Oh boy! Love this vid/tutorial. I’m a (retired) early riser, but slept in until 6:00 this morning, so I just got comfy with a cuppa coffee and watched every brush stroke, listened to you visiting about things you’re doing, trying out, worrying about… It was like “going to coffee” with my friends. This fairy is definitely worthy of the Copic Enchantment class – can’t believe the colors used in her hair – and of course, it all worked out in the end! The wings are amazing too – and I love that look on her face that says, “What are YOU doing in MY forest?!” Ha! Thanks so much for this – I’ll come back again & again, to watch the work in real time .
