Happy Inktober – where I’m starting the month by drawing a baby ringed seal! The prompt for today is RING….so I took a bit of a detour. I considered adding a nose ring once I discovered they’re named ringed seals for the ringed spots on their backs – which babies don’t have. But I thought better of it. LOL!

Inktober is a celebration of drawing daily….each year they put out a list of prompts which you can decide to follow or not; just draw something every day! I’ve even seen people do a few days on one progressive drawing, so you don’t have to finish either.
This lil baby guy is just so cute. He reminds me of a certain Star Wars character….dontcha think?

I LOVED watching this! I could’ve sat and watched it in real time though, because I’m fascinated by your skills. If I tried this, we would be guessing what it was supposed to be by the time I finished! I kept thinking how I would have to start with the nose and mouth or I would never get the eyes spaced. Oh, I really do wanna be you when I grow up! Lol
