It’s new release time for Purple Onion Designs – so there’s new Stacy Yacula stamps to be had in the Sweetest Town release!!

When Michele emailed me the new images for this release, I got so starry eyed by the buildings that, well, I barely paid attention to the rest. Ha! I had this whole layering idea that I couldn’t WAIT to do. I picked out two groupings of characters – since I know lots of you like grouped images so you don’t have to do the masking yourself. What I missed? The other little critters were all carrying packages! This city needs shoppers! ha….

Video
The video will show you some of the layers I created, and a bit about the shimmer on it – it’s a short one for today!
The toy store on the left is one I’d love to shop in! So cute. Any time I travel I always look to see if there’s an independent toy store – so I can add to my little collection of wooden toys.

Cute little snowman and ihs buddies are going to be a staple…love this little sweet stamp!

The bakery has so many goodies in the window – YUM! If you know me, you know how much I love my treats and breads!

Each building set can be used on individual cards too, but oh how lovely is it as one epic scene on a slimline card!

Epic, indeed. I loved it the first time I saw it and it’s been on my mind for more than a year. I think the best tip you gave is to make sure the verticals are vertical. It made the difference in getting my buildings to look right! Not sure if I will attempt something this epic, but it is kind of calling my name. Maybe I will finish it for NEXT Christmas. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece.
Wow! Wow! Wow! If that’s you being crazy, I love it! Your card is awesome. The dimension, the coloring, the snowman and his friends , just fantastic. That’s definitely a card to be framed. For someone who does not like to fussy cut, I appreciate how much effort has gone into it. Thanks so much for sharing.
The different elements you created are amazing. All the layers with the 3D effect and acetate windows. This card should be in a card museum.
Stunning, absolute stunning card Sandy. I love the awesome houses/shops you made in 3D.
The whole street has a nostalgic appearance.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
What a work of heart!!! It’s incredible! The acetate windows and foam snow really add a ton of pow to this beauty. Thank you for the ideas. I did not know Tonic made a snowy glitter so I’ll “have to” get some now ❄☃
This is way tooooo cute! Love it!
This is absolutely amazing!!! I love all the layers!!
Wow! What an amazing set of stamps and even more amazing execution! This card is pure eye candy. LOVE it!
Wow this card is amazing. I love the 3D effect you created, it reminds me of paper tole. Your work is truly inspiring!
Amazing, so much fab eye candy on this delightful card!
That is a stunning card! I keep looking and find more things I totally missed the first, second, third time I looked.
Things here aren’t so good with my health but this was an instant pick me up. I wish I could shout BRAVO and you would hear it all the way from California. I’ll yell it really loud and maybe it will reach your ears!

Sandy, you are amazing! Love this!
Wow, epic is an understatement. You are the Queen. Stanzbogen (an EU brand of 3d cuts for diy cards) but better. You always do something fabulous with Stacey Yacula stamps.
Amazing! Love the new stamps and of course your work is fabulous!
Love it! Forgetting the shoppers is understandable… who would want to share all the sweets!
So wonderful.I just love layers.
Sakes alive – this card is almost sensory overload! Stacy Yacula always delivers – love her critters. And you’ve definitely done her new stamps justice. Can’t wait to see the “shoppers”.
