I’m excited to be able to say I’ve colored this image up in a video – after having posted a version on social media and getting a gajillion requests for a tutorial. ha! Thanks to DigistampAtelier for having such awesome images for us to buy and print and color!

This is a rarity – a realtime video! I’ve also got some blathering toward the end about my little dream of changing the industry for the better with changing DTs just a bit. Hoping to inspire some Black crafters to get out there and share their work and apply for teams!
One night while watching tv, I printed out the Afro girl digi quite large – and oh was it fun to get into the hair! I love a good hair challenge and this offered a great one. This piece ended up sent as a gift to my Pass the Brush guest – see more about her later in this post!

The final card, printed card-sized; there’s less detail in the hair due to the size but it still worked pretty well! If you’re trying to “learn” an image, sometimes a large version helps to work on technique!

Pass the Brush event!

I’m excited to be one of the hosts for “Pass the Brush” tomorrow and Friday, the 16th and 17th! A group of artists got together to celebrate diversity and hand over our instagram for two days – and Pam will be my guest doing the takeover! We had some FUN and silly zoom meetings – you’re going to love her! Find Pam here:
