Today’s tag is more than just a gift tag…it would do a great job as a gift card holder too! (Watch the end of the video for that!) I’m picturing a bunch of these hanging on the family tree on Christmas morning with movie theater gift cards in them…a family outing, courtesy of Santa?!

Video
Enjoy the video below, or click HERE to watch it in HD on YouTube.
Measurements:
- Cut a sheet of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock in 4 strips (8-1/2″ long x 2-3/4″ wide)
- Score at 3/4″ and 4-3/4″
If you’ve missed any of the previous tag videos in the series – I’m adding them all to one playlist HERE.
As promised, closeups of the tags…multicolored first:

All white lights, with Glossy Accents….

Red and green bulbs only, with white pencil highlights…

And oh so pretty peacock feathers ink! YUM. And do you see that one bulb where it crosses over from one panel to another and the bulbs seem to align? That was totally unplanned, but WAY cool!

From the response thus far, it seems this tag series is going over quite well….couple more days to go!

Hi Sandy, my name ismLasona Roberson from Alabama, have a super tool for crafting making shaker cards haven’t seen it used but it’s a awesome tool for making dimension. I would like to share at this time I am unable to post pics on my blog lasona1.blogspot.com which would seem to sat there since my blog is still in ghost land soooo I have tried a few others because it is just the best and it’s super cheap so I don’t use my email u could also text me at [DELETED] or leave a comment on my blog. God bless
I don’t give out my phone number – and I’ve deleted yours from your comment, it’s not safe to do that. You can leave me a link to the product and I’ll look at it.
Oh ok sorry about the number thing..the product I am talking about can be bought at just about any store, made by Duck, home smart earth friendly weatherstrip seal, self adhesive foam 3/8 wide x 3/16 thick x 30″ long, it has 2 rolls in it, this does not have adhesive to both sides but my atg gun glides over it with great success, my shakers some of which are quite full never leak even glitter, it is strong and the perfect dimension it’s just great I love love it so easy to use, I can throw my cards (shakers together very quickly) hope you are able to give it a go..God bless
Now why didn’t I think of something like this for my nephews’ gift cards?! Will have to remember this for next Christmas. 🙂

Lovely little tags and a wonderful idea! Being in Australia where its summer, the Christmas lights are more practical! Could do with a little bit of snow though. Thanks for all the inspiration Sandy!
I love the use of the white stamping and the use of the distress inks rather than die inks. I always look forward to seeing what you bring to the table next.
