Interactive Magical Baker Card

September 12, 2017 by Sandy Allnock 37 Comments Filed Under: Copic Beginner, Specialty Projects

I have a real sweet tooth. Some might call it a dangerous sweet tooth! The Baker Lady stamp totally tickled my fancy – and I decided to make her a magical baker lady – with a magical bowl from which she can conjure cakes and pies!

Video

Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

This is a very flat card – the adhesive (Be Creative Tape) is around the outside edges, and the tab is trimmed so it doesn’t get caught in that adhesive.

You could add twine or a brad on the tab – but it is currently a card that pretty much feels like a one-layer card- sorta. With the one layer glued to the other, but without dimension.

What a card! I smiled the whole way through this tutorial. The apron – get out, thanks for sharing that! The gadgets (my husband works in the gadget industry) I love how you grouped them in a crock. and I just love the simplicity of the interactive slider – no special tools or dies needed – good old fashioned basic slider! Bless you and thanks for sharing. I hope you smile lots today too.

I love the pull tab with the wonky stack of yummy desserts. Did you use a heavier weight paper for the tab so it doesn’t get bent?
