When I saw the Costume Party stamp set – I knew exactly what I was going to do. And it was that sentiment sign! ha. I know, I know, I’m weird! But in today’s video you get a lot more – mostly about coloring a backlit image.

Even if you just colored all the flat-color, single layer parts, including the sky – this would be amazing. Hope you try it out!
This card, as many, brings me to constantly ask myself, HOW MANY MARKERS do I use on one piece!? Lol!

Wow ! Wow ! Wow !! Just amazing !! As usual I’m completely blown by the light in this card !!
Your work is exquisite! Slightly intimidating. I only wish it was as easy as your instructions seem. Thank you for the inspiration.
Brilliant, Sandy! I learned so much! You are a great teacher!
Sandy, I am totally in LOVE with this scene. It reminds me of a scene from, IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN!!! All you you is a ghost made from a sheet with a bunch of holes in it…BWAHAHAHA!
Adorable. Love the colors…..such a fun card. The background music was a hoot. Thanks for sharing. Always enjoy.
You are just so amazing. I love watching you and what you create; it is inspiring
Love it!! Gonna try it myself. Wish me luck!
Wonderful, Sandy! Your creations are truly so far above what I can do, it’s embarrassing. But I always learn a little something from watching your very instructional videos. Thank you for the tips on this great card- I love the coloring!
Absolutely adorable. Your color choices and the layout were great. I get so inspired watching your videos each day. I am 85 yrs. old and am trying my hand at making cards. I LOVE TO WATERCOLOR and love your style. I hope to share one of my cards sometime soon, although it takes me a while to get started. Thanks for sharing your God given talent with the crafting world. You really do inspire me to keep trying.
Just fanta-BOO-lous!
Love this backlit scene.
Always amazed. So jealous of your talent.
Love this card! Thanks for sharing this technique–I was wondering how you got that moon-lit effect when I first saw the card. Was that a micron pen you used to sketch in the sign post? I’ve been eying them for a while, but didn’t know if they were copic friendly.
No Microns aren’t Copic safe. It was a multiliner. But you could always draw it in marker then after all coloring is done, outline it with any black pen.
Can’t get it to play past the intro
Thanks for the great video demonstrating the backlight technique! BTW, I love your background music on the video..
How cute!!! and I love, love, love your videos!
I had passed on this set, but now you make me think I need it. However maybe I will get it and store away for next year since this year’s cards are done.
Great card – cool background! I’ve been using some of my new autumn backgrounds know-how from your class to make my Halloween cards – now I have one more idea for my arsenal. I have a grandson who would love a little zombie or two, shambling along in the night with their bags of treats… Perfect!
Thanks again for ALL you do!
