Colored Pencil Drawing Class: Young Rabbit
Even if you aren’t ready for a Level 5 class like this, be sure to go see the preclass lesson and watch the video there. Some good tips on carving blending stumps 🙂

Thanks for these tips Sandy
The moment you pulled out the container from the Afmat to use the tiny sandpaper I new what your tip would be! Great tip, this is something my brothers did with their special carpenter pencils and I imitated them as a child of course. I never thought of doing that with my coloured pencils.
This weeks theme was great and your art fabulous.
Thank you so much for the tips, inspiration and tutorials,
stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.
Hi Sandy, think I may give the rabbit class a try! I don’t know if it just from my iPhone but the links here to the class give me a 404 error. Clicking the link to go to home from the error page does go to art-classes home page. On the actual class page the one link to the pre class goes to the convincing shadows preclass, the one at bottom does go to the rabbit class. When using affiliate links do you only get something from the product you are linking or anything purchased using the link? Now I have to go see if I have some Stonehenge paper – think I got some sheets awhile back- but where they are?
Thanks for the specifics – I thought I had fixed the error but maybe I missed one!
The affiliate links apply to the entire purchase 🙂
Thank you, Sandy, for this video. It was helpful to me. The sharpener I use works pretty well but I haven’t been able to get a sharp point for detail and small areas. Now I know how to do that!! Small thing, but big tip for me and one I appreciate! Is there a pencil extender you would recommend for polychrome pencils (and if it holds prismas too that would be great but not necessary)? I looked in a local art store recently, but they wanted $12 for an extender. That price seemed awfully high to me. Looking forward to trying one of your classes as soon as I’m able to. Would love to be able to work my way up to the rabbit class!! Thanks again!
I bought a bunch online from Blick, and they all seem to fit the Polychromos except for the Prismacolor one. I just added links to the supply list but the Peanpole comes in fun colors – https://bit.ly/3ATv4sx
