I’m uber-excited about today’s tag video…SHIMMER! It’s been so hard to find any products that add shine to a card that are Operation-Write-Home-safe…but this appears to be just fine, at least in the ways it’s used in this video. Nothing rubs off…but OH the shine!

The tags are each so very pretty…all with the same techniques, just applied a little differently. Shopping links, as always, at the end of the post!

GORGEOUS!!! Thanks Sandy for the wonderful video.
So beautiful! Love the shimmer!
So shimmery and beautiful! Loved the different uses of heat embossing as well.
OH – so sparkly and shimmery and shiny! Love!
My favorite so far. Beautiful!
First, I love the snow coming down in the images! Let’s face it – I am snow deprived! I am enjoying your tags —- and of course the depth of your embellishments! I hope you are having a blast doing these! Sparklies and tall embellishments — hurray!
Ironing off the embossing? G E N I U S!!!!
Beautiful tags. I bet the shimmer is gorgeous in real life
Love the sparkle & shine! I can never resist sparkle!
how is this product different from Twinkling H2O’s?
Twinkling H20s are color with a little bit of shimmer – this is actually all gold, no other color – and they get shiny like you see in the video, not just shimmery, if that makes sense? I’ve never seen Twinkling H20s throw light the way these do. But the way the little pots work (adding water, etc) is just the same.
Great tags Sandy. Love the technique. thank you
Lovely! can’t wait to try this technique!
Beautiful tags – love the shimmer. I wonder if Twinkling H20 metallic watercolors would have the same effect? I’ll have to try it.
Beautiful work! I love all the shimmer and shine of those gold paints. I can’t wait to see what you do tomorrow!
Thank you Sandy!! Loving your tags this year and wishing and sending a prayer that perhaps I get to to “win” one of them..as an Australian artist, I drool over all the amazing giveaways that we just never seem to win down under…lol….xxAmira
Stunning. Fabulous to find another OWH safe product to showcase shimmer and glitz. Loving your tag series.
These are awesome!! I LOVE that mica watercolor. Such a cool technique!!
I’m in love with these tags lol !! So beautiful:)
I just love these tags. Your work is beautiful, thank you for sharing. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful tags, Sandy. You are an inspiration. I must have pushed the wrong button when I went to see Punch’s video–I saw some pretty cute hampsters (gerbils?) instead. 😉 Also, I LOVE Pentatonics! Thanks for the link.
Ohhhhh these are so pretty!!!
I LOVE your tags they turned so lovely! You are amazing! Thank you
Very elegant tag designs.
The tags are gorgeous! I like the snowflake background, but I think my favorite is the stone with the bling! Winning anyone of the tags would be awesome.
YUM! So very pretty – worth all the work.
I’m not a ‘gold’ person but these are beautiful! I like the deepest gold color best!
I love shimmer and these are just gorgeous! I love them all!
pretty tags!!!
Oh my goodness! These are absolutely beautiful. I love the shimmer and shine of these paints. And how did you ever come up with using the iron and removing the embossing? That is a wonderful hint. Thanks for sharing your talent.
That’s a reallllly old technique – one that I saw Jennifer McGuire do once when we taught together. Sweet, isn’t it?
Simply stunning. A great way to bling up any package!
Sooooo beautiful!!!
These are beautiful. I love the trees and the sparkle.
Beautiful! I would even consider using up all the shimmery water to spritz on other projects! Loved today’s video.
You’re reading my mind…that jar sits here waiting! 🙂
I love me some sparkle! Thanks Sandy!

Gorgeous tags, Sandy! Love all the shimmer and really loved watching you play.
These gold shimmery tags are just awesome!
Nice and shiny. Enjoying your tags. I’ve got to get on my tags sooner than later but I’m still behind on my Christmas cards this year.
Oh, wow! Stunning tags, Sandy! ♥
Beautiful tags. Love all that shimmer and I enjoyed seeing you use the star tree stamp as a background stamp. It is nice to see that you can get more mileage out of your stamps. TFS
These are beautiful!! I can’t wait to watch the video when I get home tonight. I am really enjoying your tag series. I know it had to be a LOT of work – Thanks so much for all the effort.
The shimmer is gorgeous! Beautiful tags!
Absolutely gorgeous tags, Sandy! The Mica watercolors would also be lovely for anniversary cards! So much inspiration! ♡
