Just because a stamp comes with certain elements doesn’t mean we need to stick with them – and in this video, I’ll show you how I edited the stamp and added the pine bough to the Hanging Pinecones stamp set from Impression Obsession to make these luscious tags!

For the card I stamped the whole image – and increased the contrast and detail in the pinecone. I added snow on the tops of some of the little parts, and the background was done the same way as on the tags!
These are an unexpected kind of tag design – little mini pieces of art to tie to a package!

Love watching you paint…it gives me courage to try new things. These tags are just so lovely. Who wouldn’t want to receive a hand painted tag? tfs
This is my favorite so far, love the way you just swipe color on and it looks sooooo good! You are an amazing artist!
Love how you did those tags! The pinecones are beautiful!
My goodness. These look so real. Amazing how fading them out on the left side helped so much. Your pine boughs look so real too. Great design. Love the card also. Absolutely gorgeous. TFS
So beautiful! I could watch you all day!!
Gorgeous pine cone tags, Thanks so much for the video!
Wow! These pinecones are adorable! I love the amazing color, and the snow is the perfect finishing touch!
So beautiful! The tags are really lovely, but the card is divine!
At first I didn’t know what you were doing. But you’re Sandy Allnock so knew it would turn out nice and it sure did. It turned out beautiful!
Whenever I watch one of your videos I get addicted to your creativity and talents. So far all the tags are very special. Thank you.
You make watercoloring look so easy, thanks for sharing.
As I’m watching, I’m thinking, no way but as you build layer upon layer the more the beauty is released. Gorgeous tags!
Very pretty and quite the surprise to see how the pine cones turned out with the one side not fully stamped!!!! TFS Sandy!

These tags are really getting me in the mood for Christmas. I live in Florida now and I don’t get to see pine trees, pine cones or snow for that matter anymore lol. I do miss it … sometimes ;o)
These are gorgeous as always <3
I left a note on YouTube, but came to the site to see the other pine cone with ribbon. It is gorgeous too. Love the light colors in the background that I imagine could be glow from lights … beautifully done all around.
Gorgeous!
Love these tags! When you added the sepia to the pinecone I was wondering how it would look in the end, but of course, it all turned out beautifully!
Those are beautiful tags! The card is gorgeous! Love them. Thanks
Your tags are just beautiful! I loved how the pine cones and the pine branches came out.

Yes, they ARE gorgeous! Another lovely tag, Sandy!
Beautiful. Love how simple these tags are.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! Watercolor is just so forgiving and the loose effect makes a painting gorgeous. The tags and the card are just beautiful. Love the red ribbon on the card with the pine cone hanging from the tree branch. Thank you for an opportunity to win Sandy!
Beautiful pinecones!
This is my favourite so far. I love the looseness of this
I love these tags. I have tried to make tags every year for my daughters’ gifts. Last year, my oldest joined me. She is the creative one. I’m excited to show her your videos. Next year, we can branch out and try a new look. I may try something like this on my own this year and surprise her with a different tag on her gift.
Love that pine cone! I love making special tags for my presents, and look forward to attempting some like these. Really appreciate you explaining what you are doing and why as you create. Your encouragement to others is a true gift. Thank you!
You did it again….hot mess until it isn’t. Just wonderful.
Love the pine cone tags and card! Happy Thanksgiving!
The pinecone tags are beautiful, as is the card. What a soft lovely background on the card. We just spent time with our son and his family in England and visited a large park of enormous pine trees. These tags are a nice reminder of how much we enjoyed walking the grandchildren through the peace and quiet of that park.
Beautiful. I think I saw some snow men coming up. Just love snowmen. Not that i really like the snow!
Beautiful tags! You make it look so easy!
These pine cone tags turned out beautifully. I like the way you mounted it and added the bows at the top. Very nice tags.
These are beautiful tags!! I love the card!
Pinecones are my favorite!!

I love the pinecones! I am Peruvian so having them at home was a very special event. I suppose even now, I still collect them when I visit a new place if they are around. I also love watercoloring!!! It is so relaxing!! Thank you for sharing so much inspiration
The tags turned out nicely. Thanks for sharing this with us. Looking forward to creating a few of my own. Happy holidays!
They did turn out beautiful! Being very new to watercolouring, watching your process taught me a lot. I probably would have stopped when it got to the messy stage but now I know that keep on going because the end result is worth it! Thanks!
Pretty, pretty. So happy right now – I had colored a pinecone image, but got way too dark in some areas. I was about ready to chuck it, but… After watching this and the other video on the foxes, I went over it all again with a couple of lighter colors and added some snow. Saved!! Thanks, Sandy, for sharing your knowledge and skills.
I didn’t like them at the beginning but when you were done. You did it again! They look awesome!Another great tag
Oh, I do so love these!!! Beautiful job as always!!
