It’s day three of the 24 tags of Christmas series for 2015! You knew there’d be some traditional Copic, right? (Yesterday I colored Copic on wood – check that out HERE.) If you’d like to see last year’s day three tag, click HERE.

Lots of folks want tips on shading of images….and since this adorable stamp set has a bunch of images in it, I thought it would be fun to color each one with the lighting from a different direction!

Could this stamp set BE any cuter?? I’m going to be stamping a bunch to take home with me for Thanksgiving and coloring up a storm – love that I can use a limited palette – so just take a few markers and refills that work together!! woohoo!

These tags are SO stinkin’ cute! You’ve made those little suits look like velvet with the way you’ve blended the colors. Thanks, as always, for the inspiration and another wonderful Copic lesson. My charity of choice is the Alhambra Hamel Ministerial Alliance which is a group of folks from four churches in two little Illinois communities who raise funds to give the less fortunate folks a hand up via a food pantry, vouchers for gasoline, vouchers for their power bill, etc.
These elves are the cutest elves EVER!! Fingers crossed they want to come home to me! My favorite charity is St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Very cute and such a fun exercise. 99% of the time my light source is coming from the top right. It must come from me always putting the sun there in my drawings as a child. 🙂
Love the Elf tags! Can just picture the grins of anyone who is lucky enough to receive one. This is a great series, need to make some time to go back and check out last years as well.
My favorite charity is Homeless in Seattle.

LOVE this video and ‘scope, too (although I can’t think of any of your videos that I don’t like!). Between this, the OCC class, in-person classes, and my own practice, practice, practice, I will get this shading down. These elves are so cute, too. If I am one of those selected, my charity would be either The Truth 365 (or its primary sponsor, “Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation.”) Both are registered 501(c)(3) public charities, and 100% goes to childhood cancer research (for reasons I posted in my comment on the first tag blog post).
I just love these little elves! I could watch you color them all day!
These elves are the best Christmas images ever and your video and scope were awesome so I shared them on Facebook and pinned them on pinterest. I’d really love to win a tag, especially one of these and favourite good cause is labrador rescue north west, here in the UK. They provide rehoming for all labradors and provide for any medical needs the dog may have and in some cases these dogs getter their medical bills paid for life.

Excellent coloring and I love that you share your coloring techniques and pen color combinations! Thank you! One of my favorite charities is the YMCA, they provide scholarships for children to attend summer camps.
What a generous giveaway! Those tags are gorgeous (as usual) and to be thinking charitably is really the true essence of Christmas IMO. It’s hard to have a favourite charity, really, but I would have to go with Women for Women International who work tirelessly to help women in war-torn and conflict regions move from victim to survivor to active community member. I can’t imagine being denied education because of my gender, or targeted specifically in times of conflict because of my gender. And yet, these women learn to read and write and run small businesses – all in 12 months!! – while continuing to raise their families. I am in awe and inspired by these women every day. Without the ability to read & write I couldn’t do anything I have to do/want to do, much less enjoy card marking. I am truly blessed and want to see every woman (and by extension their children and communities) have the same safety, education, health resources and protected human rights.
Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from you Sandy in the few short months since I found your videos. I’ve watched so many that I can’t even remember how I found you in the first place. LOL. Thanks so much for all the quality instruction on your blog, YouTube channel and scopes!
