Ohhhhh gosh. Crazy challenge has been thrown down by the folks over at Make It Crafty! This time? Bic pens!?!? They added a PS that it could be a medium you just never use….so I pulled out my Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pen set from the Play Drawer! If you can’t see the video below, click HERE to watch it on YT.
I’m not sure I’ll ever do this again with these pens – but you can expect to see some zengangling maybe sometime. Or tiny patterns on dresses. The markers are waterbased, so I’ll have to see how they play with my Copics.

Sandy, you are a Saint for not going insane while doing this! Is there anyway that after you use Tim Holtz you can make it permanent?
Now how did I know it was Jennifer… lol she finally came out of the garden…. great card btw!!
Don’t know if I would’ve had the patience to color with those little nibs! Great job hanging in there , and the results were fantastic! Definitely not a challenge I would take, so kudos to you Sandy!
Really cool card! I would have been too frustrated trying to use the little nibs. Thank you for the tip about using another color to tone stuff down, going to remember that. 🙂
love love love this!!! Thank u so much!!! Hey by the way, would you consider doing the new shake your booty stamps from art impression. They look adorable and I love to have a model from which to try!! Thank you Sandy!!
You did great with those few colors, Sandy! The card is beautiful! But, your discomfort was painful! Good for you for not giving up and making a success of it!
Way to tackle the challenge! Looks steam-punkish to me.
Despite your comments to the contrary, your image is superb! I think you could color with matchsticks and make something look good! I’m amazed.
Sandy, you defintely rose to the challenge. What a great card!
I can’t get sound with your video! 🙁
You knocked the challenge out of the park. Your card turned out great and I love how you did the background. TFS
Still looks fabulous even though not copies.
Sandy, I love your work, no matter how crazy you get with the markers, inks, pens! 🙂 I was super surprised to see this colouring but also very glad, because I do have a set of 20 of Staedtler fineliners… Yepp. But I use them for writing mostly as the nib is so super fine… Well done and thanks for this! Now I know I can colour with them too. Although, as you say copics or distress markers probably make a little more sense 🙂
Just goes to show you any medium can be used when you have talent like yours. It is gorgeous.
WOW! I saw another entry on another blog I follow – this look like too much fun!!!! I really like how you used detail on the embossing folder! Check this on out – http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TGyrSZNOrcY/VATT-OvkllI/AAAAAAAAKKc/8eta0Zk-Ezo/s1600/IMG_1781.JPG
