The two widths of pens
With further research, it’s the UM number that points you to the pens of different tip size – the long number, though, is for those with stores who might need the bar code number that might help you order. LMK if you need more info off of the pens themselves.

Thanks so much for all the tips and tricks for white pens. I love a good white pen!! BUT what I really want to say is, I have that same chicken trivet for hot plates! LOL

Thanks for the tips. I’ll get right on them… yes, my white gel pens are clogged. I guess we won’t expect law enforcement to use gel markings to solve any murders now that we know their uselessness to forensic science! 🙂
Great info on gel pens – especially the white Uniball Signo. I think about a year ago you mentioned writing with a light hand with these, and that’s what finally made one work for me. I was actually able to make snowy scenes last winter! Yay! After throwing away, I don’t know how many of these through the years. But really? Why doesn’t Signo just re-design these pens so they’ll work – always and easily?
There are definitely engineering challenges when it comes to gel pens. They get more ink on the paper than other brands, but it’s offset by them clogging more for some people (I rarely ever have dead pens, I had to save up a year to have a few in my cup that were stuck!)
