As a kid I was a huge Muppet fangirl. Especially of the PIGS IN SPACE! segments. So….here’s an ode to the show (that has pretty much nothing to do with Pigs in Space!) When this space stamp set came across my little world, well…..yeah. I had to go there! With Brusho, too.

The intensity of color in Brusho pigments is really pretty amazing. While it’s a product that needs practice – it’s well worth it for the effect!

Beautiful depth to your sky.
I love your videos Sandy and all the artwork and tips you share with us 🙂
Love! It has always amazed me watching you watercolor with the powders. You are so amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!
Awesomeness!
Seriously adorable Sandy! I learn SO MUCH from you. Thank you for being such a generous person to share this with us.
I LOVE watching you watercolor with all the different mediums. So fun to see how you take advantage of the properties of each as you create!
In addition to using something like Glossy Accents to coat an image to prevent the color from reactivating, I’ve watched Tim Holtz use a product called “Microglaze”. It’s almost like wax, but it does much the same thing without having to wait for the dry time. Judkins makes the product (sold on Amazon) and Ranger now also markets it too.
Great instructional video on the use of Brushos! I have played with them on watercolor paper, but only used them as a background and then embossing an image on top. I’m now anxious to try them on stamped images.
Thanks, Sandy!
Great video. You are very patient with Brusho.
This Space boy is so cute! I never heard of Brusho Pigments. The colors in your card are very pretty, vibrant, and layer well. Thank you.
Adorable.
