Today I have a few random tidbits for you….first, a hilarious weather meme that perfectly describes my week…I love creative, funny people! Next week is a rain week + travel, so I’m thrilled we had a gorgeous week filled with sunshine and warmth!
And a little news!
I popped over to Daniel Smith to do some shopping before my NY trip (my watercolor blocks are down to just one or two sheets in each so I bought a few more to start fresh for my NY trip – I always panic and take more paper than I know I’ll need!). I was “called into the office” while at the counter (where I was also signing up for another Tom Schaller class – OMG I am so excited he’s coming back). And guess what? We picked dates for my first 2 day Watercolor Workshop!!
It’s not on their site yet, but I know some of you have said you would come out to Seattle for a workshop if I taught one, so here’s your notice: September 14-15 (Sat-Sun), 10:30-4:30, $200.
I’ll post again and mention it on social media once the class info is online and you can sign up. I still need to figure out the class topic. Below is a painting from last weekend’s plein air trip with PAWA, Plein Air Washington Artists – about 30 of us went to the Arboretum.
Have a great Mother’s Day weekend!
