Today’s card is inspired by one of the cards sent in during my summer call for inspiration – Elaine sent an elf from Mo Manning…and I bought a different elf!

Still need a Copic Hex Chart?
I’m curious if there are still maybe 10 people in the world who haven’t gotten one yet. LOL. In case they’re here….here’s the link!

Elaine’s card
Elaine used another image, Little Elf Mim by Mo Manning – hers isn’t a digi though, she ordered the stamp set from Penny Black. (I can’t seem to find it on their site.) The ornament has holographic foil – cool huh?? And the elf’s swinging is due to an MFT Spin and Slide disc. And I might need to get some coz OH fun.

I love this card! SUPER
Such a darn cute card, Sandy ! This little elf is adorable and I am totally in awe of the way you coloured this little scene. The light on the baubles is simply breathtaking ! Thanks so much for sharing and for inspiring. x
Great card … and I love Elaine’s card too!
Another great card
Awesome card Sandy and the image is so cute.
Great tutorial on highlights of the ornaments.
I wonder if you would do this in coloured pencil do you need as much different colours as with Copics?
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Great lesson in highlight creation / representation. Thanks!! Very sweet card!

Absolutely beautiful and so cute! It’s so relaxing to watch you color.
Beautiful. Guess I need to add more reds to my meager Copic collection. I am just amazed at the dimension of the ornaments!
Such a cute card! I always have trouble with red bleeding out somewhere. A white gel pen is my best friend. Glad to hear it’s not a crime to use more than three copics to blend. I get discouraged when I use four colors to blend thinking that I must have chosen the first three incorrectly. Great lesson. Thanks.
Fabulous!
You just have way too much fun making Christmas cards – which, yes, I know it’s your job and it really is a lot of work – but it seems like fun when I watch your vids. This one is just amazing – to know how it’s going to turn out, then watching how it happened – just WOW. Thank you for all the info that comes with it, especially the lesson about sometimes using more than 3 colors for blending!
The reds in this are so deep! I’ll have to try it…
