Coloring a Seagull Dock Scene (Mine Mine Mine Mine Mine)

These MFT seagulls crack me UP. I can totally “hear” them gathering on the dock and yelling “MINE” over each other, everyone wanting that one chip. Can you hear them too???

There’s a “MINE” word in one of the sentiments if you want to stamp it instead of writing it, but it was quick to just write the word. (And then no one has a heart attack watching me cut a sentiment stamp. LOL)

Wonderful video, not only did you show what can be done with the stamp set( I too thought I could not use it), and then you show in detail how you created the background, such a great lesson! Totally agree on the idea of a class on clouds, with markers and watercolours, but also a class on how to create backgrounds for different scenes; hopefully this is not too much to ask…

Many times I look at a stamp set and think, I don’t know what I would do with it. But, then I see what you have done with that set and suddenly I WANT THAT SET! Thanks for expanding my brain to see what can be, and thanks for reminding me to use my imagination and just go for it!

Funny card – isn’t it Salt Lake City that has a monument to the Seagull? But showing one with a potato chip is just the best! Thanks, also for the great tips on coloring backgrounds with clouds – I struggle a bit also – maybe we need a cloud class next – with Copics AND watercolorst!!!
