I decided I needed to color this sweet pair of buddies in a plane…I’d love to be out flying with them right now, wouldn’t you?

You can use supplies you have at home if you’re missing any of my little tools.
- The cotton balls are in your bathroom already, or maybe a few are hiding in the first aid kit? Look for anything else soft that you might use — makeup pads, perhaps?
- For a tea strainer, see what kind of grate you have in the kitchen, or try creating color dust on a piece of sandpaper.
- Instead of Gamsol, try baby oil!
- To sharpen a blending stump, use some sandpaper. See the tutorial over on my blog today where I also show how you can make your own blending stumps!

Thanks for the tips.
Great tips. Now if only I could get my stamps this organized. Sigh!
Thank you! I have some of Ellen’s smaller ones and LOVE them and just ordered the larger ones! WOW! You’ve made my life easier…the larger ones are just sitting (panting) for the biggies!! Hehe! Hugs!
I won some of the Essentials by Ellen storage envelopes (and the magnetic sheets) and I love them! I am relatively new to clear stamps and I had JUST enough sets for the envelopes. Now I just need to get more clear sets! LOL Thanks for the info on the larger ones,I didn’t know!
YAY! I’ve been so perplexed and frustrated. Thank you!
Thank you for the tip on the different sized storage envelopes! Just a quick note that the dimensions don’t match the sizes that you have posted. I think you meant to go regular, medium then large, but actually typed large, medium then regular. It’s a small glitch that I’m sure you’ll easily fix.
Thanks again!
Yeah I decided to link them late last night – oops! too sleepy for bloggin!
So good to know these pouches come in bigger/taller sizes as well. As for labelling, why don’t you simply put a label on the stamp sheet itself instead of on the pouch?
Because I’ve come to the conclusion I don’t keep any long enough to go to that trouble – I pass them on in my customer appreciation days all the time 🙂
I use the plastic envelopes from Ellen Hutson on a regular basis and love them because of the nice weight. Although they will tear, they hold much much better than the other brands. I recently spotted the large size but haven’t purchased any yet. It’s great to hear some feedback about them. Thanks as always for being the chief tester and enabler.

Thanks so much for telling me about these bigger size pockets! I’ve been cutting bigger pockets made of the thinner plastic down and sealing with the fuse tool. It works but isn’t nearly as sturdy.
