Make a Set of Hummingbird Thank You Cards – Tombow markers

January 11, 2018 by Sandy Allnock 158 Comments Filed Under: Watercolor Pens/Inks

I’d like to start by wishing Paulina a happy FOURTH birthday! Yes, it’s her 4th year as Pretty Pink Posh, and I’m very happy for her – it’s not easy to keep a business afloat! #girlpower!

She sent me some of the new release, and I chose these really pretty little hummingbirds; they’re perfect for CAS cards with tiny little watercolored birds. I used Tombow markers, but you can try whatever water-based markers you have at home. (Don’t do this with alcohol markers, you’ll mess up your stamps!)

Wow! As I said in the comments of the video, your cards are beautiful! I just bought my first set of Tombow markers on Black Friday. I can’t wait to use them this way!

Paulina, happy birthday and thank you for the effort you have put into making more beautiful items available for card makers these last four years!

I love hummingbirds! We have four 10-hole feeders hanging on our porch by the middle of each summer. The hummers hang out in one of our trees while they ate between meals. There are so many of them, that even with 40 spots to eat, they sometimes have to “wait in line!” There are times I fill each 32 ounce feeder twice in one day. Sometimes I could sit and watch these entertaining birds all day! I think the same would go for watching you color them, Sandy!
