First – thank you to all of you who sent me a bounty of cards, letters and emails this last month! While there are far bigger issues going on around it besides me getting frustrated and taking a social media break….I appreciate those who encouraged (and challenged!) me to continue to speak about things I care about. Big hugs!

Today’s project isn’t a card – since I can’t figure out how I’d send a card to anyone telling them they’d better start being kind….lol. So instead I made a piece that I’ll be hanging in my studio to remind ME to be kind!
I have my doubts about the ease of watercolor on this surface, but with just doing a simple background behind a stamp it worked great. There was a note in the packaging saying the surface needs to be completely wet before painting….so there’s that. I’ll be trying some of these other Aquabords that I’ve bought over the years, thinking I’d use them….it’s time to DO it!
