It’s the start of a holiday weekend in my country….though with so many states closing back down because of the rampant virus spread and fireworks canceled so people will stay home, I’m not sure just how much of a celebration it’ll be! So I’m making my OWN party right here!

For Hummingbird Delight I looked up hummingbirds on Google and followed the colors in one of the photos. I’d love to see ones that you make so be sure to tag me so I can see which bird you picked! The no-line ink in the background did a great job of making a subtle background that lets the bird shine through.
Hey Florida! I know you love your Tickled Pink Flamingo birds, and this one is the easier one to color of the three due to the simplicity of the bird’s structure itself.
Hope Sings Peacock – wearing a monacle! ha! Oh the thoughts I had while coloring it. Is that a handle or a chain drawn in the stamp? How is it held in place? Is the bird holding it on with feather pressure around the glass? Or does this bird have opposable thumbs to hold onto a handle!? A girl needs to know!

They are all wonderful, especially the hummingbird!
Love the Peacock card!!! The blues are amazing!!
We are doing the card swaps in the mail to stay connect with the crafty friends.
The peacock is amazing, the colors, texture, liveliness are all inviting!
Staying home safe and gardening on tbe fourth.
I love peacocks but all of them are gorgeous!
I love hummingbirds, they fascinate me so much! Best activity is backyard bbq staying 6’ apart and sharing fabulous food and people❤️
All three cards are stunning!!! Love hearing your thought process along the way. You make perfect sense
The beautiful humming bird is my absolute favorite, but the regal peacock makes me smile! Getting out for a drive in my northwest mountains and stopping to hike is a great social distancing while enjoying God’s beautiful creation is a wonderful way to celebrate!
I adore birds, & yours are gorgeous! If I really had to pick one … that’s not easy … I would choose the hummingbird. Or maybe the peacock. Or …
There’s so much fun in just taking a simple walk down a country lane!
Such beautiful colour, it’s so hard to pick a favourite. I’m going with the Hummingbird with a Capital H!! My favourite thing to do during a holiday weekend is to be in nature. Anywhere, just walking and admiring Gods wonder
I would love to be one of the lucky winners!
I loved the flamingo!! The colors are so exciting! I am so becoming a clumsy flamingo, since for the next 3 months, I am non weight barring, since I broke my ankle in three places last Sunday, June 28.
The best social distancing, activity was to do zoom with my grandchildren! I was suppose to be going to the beach with them in a cabin, it was the safest way I could see them!
Lol! I love your overthinking with the peacock (my fav). The chain is usually attached to the pocket of a waist coat and I’m sure he must be wearing a snazzy one! Something fun that my friends and I have been doing via FaceTime (although not holiday related you could make it so), is we each make a list of items that we are all likely to own. One person reads from their list and the others run to find the item. The person who finds it quickest gets the point. We take it in turns and the person with the most points is the winner. Our lists are craft items eg: copic Y13 but you could do anything!
I liked the Flamingo the best.
For social distance activity we did sparklers on the front porch and watched neighbors do fireworks up on our circle. We live on a cul-de-sac.
I love all the cards. So beautiful. I will pick the hummingbird. But all of them are lovely. Hope you had a nice4th of July. Take care, Darlene Renshaw
I enjoyed watching your coloring all these birds very much. I don’t color much for I only have just a few markers but you gave me ideas to help me along. CCC hit it out of the park with these 3 bird stamps. I did order and can’t wait to get at them. Thanks Sandy I so enjoy your channel!
Loved all your works and videos, Sandy. The hummingbird is my fav. They are all beautiful. Thank you and stay safe.
My Englisch is not realy good, but my taste is. Whooaww. Love the birds.
Greets frim Holland ❤️
I Made math vlogs for my students during C19. We ❤️That.
I just found your videos and have been bringing ALOT! So I came here to read a bit more about the supplies you use.
I personally love the peacock because it reminds me of the peacocks at my grandparent’s place. I loved them!
A good thing to do this weekend is bicycling. See some pretty country!
I really like the hummingbird. I don’t know he just looks happy. 4th of July was celebrated quietly with grandchildren. Best fireworks was watching them, safe and sound.
I enjoy seeing you color in all different mediums. You’re truly a master of the art I’m learning a lot and I’ve come a long way. I don’t think I’ll ever be as good at using colored pencils. My favorite of the 3 card today is the hummingbird. The depth of color is so realistic! I would never have imagined layering it as you did. As far as safe social distancing for a holiday, my preference is videoconferencing with FaceTime, Skype, Twitch etc. FaceTime is easiest for me. I take care of my elderly parents who live 2 hours away so for me there’s no safer option. If I had young kids, I’d still do videoconferencing. It would be no different than if we were hundreds or thousands of miles apart, Better to see each other alive and healthy than the alternative, I’ve already gotten used to it and it was never very painful. Happy Independence Day! When the dust settles were really going to visit those landmarks that we we’ve planning to see for so many years like Gettysburg, Ellis Island and Valley Forge.
My daughter loves flamingos so thank you so much for the tips on coloring. I am new to copic coloring and hope to take some classes soon. Thank you for all your inspiration!!
Hi Sandy, my favorite card is the hummingbird one. And my family and I will stay in our house making barbecue and enjoying some beer on the backyard.
I love all your birds Sandy, especially watching you colour them to life. Would be rapt to win one(any one!)
Thanks for sharing your God-given talent with us.xxx
All of the birds are beautiful, but I really love the hummingbird. Hummingbirds remind me how beautiful and yet just how fragile life can be. They are truly beautiful creatures and they bring so much joy to those who enjoy watching them. I think mailing cards to friends would spread joy both for the card creator and the recipient. You could also include an extra card for them to send to someone else. Oh, what joy!
I love all three, but the peacock cracks me up! I think staying home and crafting sounds great to me!
I love the hummingbird card. A recipe card swap is in order for this pandemic. Cooking at home has made my tried and true recipes a bit boring now. New easy and tasty recipes are needed.
You make this look so easy, Sandy! Love the feathery details! Thanks for sharing with everybody.
I just love watching you create art. There is something so soothing about seeing you shape an image to life whether it’s with markers, pencils or paint. Thank you for being so inspiring.
ALL the birds were breathtakingly beautiful, but I love the flamingo. I’ve seen them IRL (in real life) and some are that bright pink. I think it has to do with what they eat…
We are staying home for the holiday. Not even sure whether our town is planning to hold the usual fireworks display. Too many people (and risk) for this particular year. Stay safe and happy.
Happy 4th of July Sandy! Your hummingbird coloring is outstanding, along with the peacock and flamingo, they are favorite bird to watch as they are the jewels of the sky.
Apart from sitting six feet apart in the backyard, games like corn hole toss, badminton, and volleyball are a great way to have fun and social distance one’s self.
birds are so beautiful!
Love all three cards, but the peacock the best. We are in Colonial Williamsburg to walk the streets and see the Fife & Drum band (and stream Hamilton ), if the heat doesn’t drive us inside! Happy Fourth!
Happy 4th Sandy … I love your peacock!
I love Zoom get togethers to celebrate anything!
You are so talented. I absolutely love the contrast that you have with your copic coloring. It makes me be more adventurous in my color choices. I just discovered the Colorado Craft stamps last month and immediately thought of you! Look forward to seeing what you do with each of their releases. I was trying to resist the birds from this last release but now I must take the plunge. Thank you for the inspiration.
For the giveaway questions…
It is hard to pick a favorite but i think the colors in the hummingbird perhaps make that my number one.
For social distancing this fourth that is a good question…I think making use of the WHOLE backyard for our BBQ. Setting up a circle of friends that are all 6 feet apart.
I love all three but the hummingbird is my favorite.
Best social distancing thing I can think of is watching Hamilton and then discussing it via text. Sharing with my great niece in another town, my cousin in another state and a good friend in another city.
A look back at our founding fathers with a modern f.lair.
I love the hummer especially, but that Flamingo is adorable too. I love your coloring in general. It’s my birthday today,, so I hope you choose me to send a card to!
Hola, Sandy! All of your cards are gorgeous, but I have a things for peacocks. I, literally, just purchased a peacock stamp set! haha So, peacock card is my favorite!
San Antonio is on lockdown so we will be staying home and kicking back. Safest bet. Happy 4th of July, Sandy!
I love the flamingo (my sister loves flamingos too)! She moved to Florida about 4 yrs ago now and I am waiting for the time I can move down there with her to enjoy some fun in the sun! I am going to my best friends for a picnic, nothing major just “family” getting together for food and being together. Its been to long!
I love Hope Sings Peacock because I love Peacocks… it’s usually the tail feathers but this one won me over with that fun monocle. I love it!
We’re older, so our favourite thing to do is watch a movie marathon, while we munch on vegetables and fruits with dips.
(By the way, when I click on the Peacock link, I get the Flamingo. I did find the Peacock though. It’s under the Flamingo link.)
That’s a difficult choice as I like all three….probably the hummer the most!
I plan to stay home and find a fire works on TV….safe and sound in my p.j.’s!!!!
Thanks for the coloring video Sandy….you really make it look easy!!!
Sandy you are amazing. I love the hummingbird. Oh, one just landed on our feeder. We are just going to have a quiet 4th. Just eat and enjoy the beautiful weather. Stay safe.
