I was doing some online shopping and stumbled onto this Hare Mail set – oh my gosh. I couldn’t click that button fast enough! They’re such cute little guys with a super simple style – they’ll be fun to color in a variety of ways with different mediums! For these, I did the watercoloring before stamping the black lines – whaaaa? Check it out and see what you think!

The envelope was pretty fun – the “To” block was simply stamped with a few colors, and the bunny was painted by scribbling some color on an acrylic block; fancy painting on an envelope is pretty impossible but a simple shaded line worked fine!

I can see why you fell in love with these cuties, and your card turned out pretty darn cute as well. Don’t own any Tombow markers, but I guess it would be fun using this technique with flowers and distress inks. Thanks for the inspiration!

Using markers with stamps like this was the first thing I did with my grand-girls. It’s such a fun way to get color down without worrying if your stamping is perfect. We might have to pull these out Friday on our play date! (I also just taught my great niece how to make a palette on a plate and paint with markers. She was so excited to see how she could mix her own colors! I gave her a cottage cheese lid when she left, and you’d have thought it was a million dollars!).
Haha I laughed so hard at this. Kinda like you buy a big expensive gift but they would rather play with the box it came in. Well you have taught her a skill she will have for a lifetime and will remember how her Auntie taught her.
