Happy February, friends! I’m over at MFT with another bit of coloring, reposted here. I hope you’re enjoying the series as much as I am! This month I went back to my Copics…I’ve been wanting to make a floral garden, and this little Pure Innocence girl looked like the perfect stamp to try it out.
Video
In the video I’ll show you some tips for “fixing” blotchy skin, too…Watch the video below or click HERE to watch on YT to see how I made that pretty flower garden!
When I color people, I often add a few stray hairs here and there to add just a little character to them. When using a middle brown for this little girl, it almost looks like shadows on her face, right? Cool accident! 🙂

The background is just so fun and forgiving! It takes a while to add enough color to it – and be sure to use enough. If your colors are too light, the colorless blender won’t achieve very much.
All this was colored on Smooth White. The card base I used, by the way, is Pineapple Prestige, layer is Black Licorice – all the supplies are below!

Enjoyed seeing how you did the watercolor flower garden. TFS
So pretty.
I love this technique! I often forget about the blender pen as something other than a “mistake fixer”
Adorable card and cool technique!
An amazing technique. Being as we are expecting a Nor’easter here in the maritime’s tonight, I am going to be home alone while hubs has to work, so I’ll hole up in my craft room and give this a try. TFS, Sandy, its just beautiful!
Coolest technique ever. Makes me wish I had some COPICS just to try this technique.
Oooh. So pretty. Beautiful as always
This is sweet and hopeful! Love the colors!
