Color a foxy valentine card – Inktense + watercolor

January 23, 2017 by Sandy Allnock 10 Comments Filed Under: Watercolor Pencils

This stamp set might be a winter one – with scarves and snowmen – but I love getting sets I can also use year-round! I bought this one for the foxes – these two have nothing wintry about them so they can hop into all kinds of cards all year long! I pulled out both my Inktense Pencils plus my Daniel Smith Watercolors to make this card…hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful watercoloring. I’m going to try the Arches Watercolor paper. I have only used 2 brands but loved the way the colors blended on the Arches. Also going to get the Inktense pencils. I have the Prismacolor but I don’t think they are the watercolor ones. I usually use my Zig Clean Brush for watercoloring. “Isn’t variety the spice of life” lol . I have learned so much through your blog and videos. I have to say your voice is so calming and sweet. Thank you for all you share.

Wonderful! I just love the tips you give as you’re coloring. Even the bow is beautiful. Someone will have a big smile when this is opened!

Just beautiful, Sandy! Now I’m inspired to use watercolor pencils on my next card. It was such fun to watch your Periscope from CHA! Enjoy every minute, Sandy! ♡
