Fall Flowers Series 2018 #6: Masculine Floral Card

August 31, 2018 by Sandy Allnock 20 Comments [featured_image}

Fall Flowers Series 2018

I love creating a little series of videos for you sometimes….kind of like a mini public “class”! I had a bunch of flower stamps in my growing stash that I haven’t shown yet, so they’ll be collected together this week into a series. Enjoy!

Masculine Floral Card

I threw myself a challenge – make a fall floral that could be sent to a GUY!? You’ll have to decide if I achieved it or not…… Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

Colors used…I misspoke, weathered wood is walnut stain. W’s ya know?

So tell me…is it masculine?? lol! My dad used to always say “Take it easy” instead of “Bye!”….so I used this sentiment from this sloth set.

Supplies

Below are links to the supplies I’ve used for today’s project. Compensated affiliate links may used, which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support toward the costs of running this blog! Read more.

    It’s perfect. Thanks for using these AI stamps. I’ve been wanting to try them out, and actually bought a few sets.

    You can’t get much more masculine than a pick-up truck! Great card and video!

    I love the truck being driven instead of stationary. The autumn floral scene is perfect for both guys and gals. Thanks for using distress markers. Maybe a class for distress inks could be in the future? 🙂

    Wow, I love how you create your scenes. Now when I stamp I try to create around the stamped image like having a table or counter under the cake. Never thought about not having the image tied to something until I started watching your videos. Thank you!

    This is great and yes I think it is a masculine card, love it. Love also how you begin to stamp with the truck and then by telling what you do the whole image came to live, it was awesome to hear and see! Thank you Sandy and have a nice weekend.

    Handsome masculine card! I’ve completely enjoyed your flowers series. So much variety in cardstock and mediums. As always you leave me wondering and looking forward to what you’ll do next. I’m disappointed this series is coming to an end but I’m sure the disappointment will vanish with delight over whatever is next. God bless you

    I THINK it’s a perfect masculine card….especially for those guys who can relate to trucks and cars and outdoors and nature and farming or gardening! But, I also love it! I drive a pick up myself….so I would be tickled pink to receive this!
    Love to watch you in action….

    I think you nailed it! Totally works for a man, but I would be just as happy to get this card. Watching it come together was awesome, I just love how your brain takes a single stamp and builds a whole scene around it. Thanks to you I’ve been trying to get my brain to think about scenes rather than just a single stamp on the page.

    Thanks for doing a masculine card. I’ve felt during the past year or so, that the stamp companies are almost discriminatory, the way they seem to think only of women when designing stamps. I have almost as many men as women in my family who need birthday cards, thank-yous, get-wells, etc. I’ve had this little pickup truck on my wish list for a couple of weeks now – looks like I’d better send in an order before they fly off the shelf! Thank you so much, as always, for all you do!
