My mailbox saw a pack of fun new stamps from Sunny Studio Stamps at the end of the summer – and I teased up a couple other cards when I posted the first fall one. Now we’re in the throes of Christmas cards!

I used Holy Night to create today’s card – and with many many layers I made the background with TWO light sources! Watch the vide too see how:
Most light sources come from the sun or a lamp – sometimes through the window or some other place, but it’s most often a simple clear place. But with this card, since there’s a manger AND a star, both can cast a glow onto everything on the card!
I’m glad I remembered the pack of acetate cards I have – I need to use them this season!

If one of my cards had started out looking like this one did, I might have given up – so, a good example of your famous saying about something being a hot mess until it isn’t! And it turned out beautifully, of course – I love the idea of two card fronts, one being clear acrylic. Thanks for all the great info!
