The Art Impressions Basket of Blessings set has some really pretty rabbits to color for Easter cards. Lots of ways to color them – but I chose vintage. Using watercolor pencils on drawing paper!

Here are the Albrecht Durer pencil colors I used….

The bunny in front is darker than the one behind to create depth.

And that ribbon? Not thick! There’s no knot in the larger yellow ribbon….

…it just has some tiny twine holding it in place. With a little adhesive to assure the yellow ribbon doesn’t come undone.

Oh wow Sandy, this is amazing!
Great card, can you share the die cut you used for card base.
Sorry forgot that link! http://salln.net/2xIcRf6
Great cards Sandy love watching your colouring. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration and sharing your knowledge.
Gorgeous card and love to watch how you did this.
When I saw the colour numbers on the beginning of the video I thought you would use Polychromos. After the video when I looked ad your numbers here on the blog I saw that the Albrecht Durer numbers are the same numbers and colours as the Polychromos.Never knew that.
Thank you for your gorgeous card and have a lot of fun with your watercolour workshop.
Love it! Your talent is always so inspiring! No better way to start my morning!
this is such a pretty card! I love the soft look!
Great prescription for the winter doldrums – bunnies in pretty spring colors. We’re getting so tired of snow, ice, fog, more snow… This is a fun technique to try – guess I’ll see if I can find my watercolor pencils and try it in my play journal.
