Lots of stamps are ones that move (in real life)….and creating a movement of color along a repeated-image wave can create that movement visually in a really colorful way!

I used prismacolor pencils here but you can use a lot of mediums to try something like this.

For the little banner, I stamped it on another piece of paper and hand-cut it out; I added a power tab (aka Extreme Tab) under the left side (under the T) and regular tape runner under the right side, so it looks like it’s lifting “up” off the page.
This card below was the inspiration for the planes, using DuhNuh. So much fun, these sharks don’t look one BIT dangerous, do they?

Both cards are so cute and NO, those sharks don’t look dangerous (OR scary) at all. LOL
Thanks for the tip about the kneaded eraser. (Again.) These planes are fun!
Wonderful cards!! Love both of them. For the sharks card, can you do a quick video on how you did the water? It is amazing and looks so real!
So cute. Hey! I have a plane stamp……
Two wonderful cards! Can you tell me which stamp set the orca is from?
Sandy, this “movement” technique with the rainbow of colors is a great idea–and I couldn’t help laughing at the “jaws” theme stamped along the way on your second card. Thanks for sharing the technique and the card designs.
Loving this. The sharks look loveable instead of scary.
