For this technique – it’s just a white pencil on black paper – with a little white gel pen for extra bright highlights if you think you need it! Watch on YouTube.
This technique worked for such a pretty little Christmas card too, didn’t it?

We’re up to day three of six in the 2020 series – and it’s time to do some watercoloring! Don’t worry – it’s simple watercolor. And – because I love you, I’ll also paint the larger stamp in this Anita Jeram set with the deer!

These cute little round tags are so sweet – I was tickled to discover the scalloped border stamp in “This is Us” fit nicely into the Tag Trio circle die! Let’s get out the paints and get busy….
The card came out so sweet…I chose to create a little border with the pink from the painting, and a navy blue card base – which added some gorgeous drama to the card.

Welcome to my traditional week I’ve done for years – I make 24 tags (4 in each video for 6 in a row) and give them all away! Some are fancy, some are simple, but all involve coloring of some kind…..so let’s get this show on the road!

This first tag using O Tiny Tre from Avery Elle is a fun and simple way to use just one color for a tag – coordinate it with your wrapping paper, and don’t spend tons of time coloring!
The technique works great for a card too – here I added a little yellow to the star because, well….YELLOW, right?

Are you ready for some live music from the Boss?
This tag is simple – I used the pen and shopping list from Holiday Shopper Lady and drew in my own wood background for a table. I considered mittens, but that was too much for my tired brain to work out what angle the mitten would be to hold the pen! (Besides, can you hold a pen with a mitten?) Ha!!
Thanks for joining me for the 12 tags – there are 12 cards coming in the leadup to Christmas, and more giveaways, so stick around!
