My followers may well have some idea how much the shape of a hexagon makes me happy – well, I found hexagon tiles, and was just totally thrilled! And tiles can be painted on with alcohol inks with no prep at all – just start dropping on color and alcohol!

Wow Sandy, this is just stunning!!
Absolutely gorgeous! What a treasure to hang in your studio or anywhere! I love it.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Sandy,
Absolutely beautiful display! I am so inspired! Just so gorgeous! I was wondering what you mounted the tiles on? Stained Plywood? What was your frame size?
It’s a weirdly sized frame that was already filled with the wood; I looked around for something that would have an orientation that some hexagons would fit in, and remembered. I was going to paint this white and do something else to it.
GORGEOUS!
Are any of these for sale??
Thank you for responding.
These are beautiful little pieces and when combined, stunning! Copic is also updating the ink refill bottles, half the amount of the original refill bottles. Maybe they are coming out with a redesigned air gun? OK, Jellyfish (gotta throw that in)
This is beautiful. Do you rock the hexagon!
Very cool project
This is beautiful
Fabulous project, Sandy! Great way to be able to display alcohol ink artwork! And I agree with you – love all the white space!
This is just gorgeous. Love how colorful this is, and using the hexagon tiles was genius.
What a fun project! Love the colors and shapes – fun to let the mind wander where it will…
