I haven’t added to my Watercolor Flowers Series in ages but with spring around the corner…maybe it’s time!

I bought these pretty roses from Penny Black and stamped them in a faded ink pad – and turned them into washy flowers. Enjoy!

It takes some practice to get loose and washy, but it’s so worth the effort!

Sandy, I don’t think I have ever watched a video tutorial that lasted 10 minutes and learnt so much about one medium in that time. I was absolutely drawn to you painting for the whole time, I could have watched you for so much longer. I am definitely going to go back to other video tutorials you have done with water colour and watch these too. Thank you so much for such an informative video tutorial Sandy. :O)
Wow Sandy this is so awesome, thanks for this great informative video!

I love watching you do these “washy” roses, especially that moment when each one suddenly turns into a total 3-dimensionally real rose! Wowzers.
