Merry Christmas Eve!! There’s one more special card to go after this, but today I wanted to remind all the kids out there to go to bed nice and early – because Santa’s getting that sleigh packed up!

In my 24 tags series in November, I used watercolor pencil with Vintage Santa (see that post HERE) – this time, Copic marker! I created strong lighting by making dark areas around Santa, including adding a hint at his body on the left, and a wall on the right. The shadow moves across his beard, too – and I used a bunch of white pen to add more swirls and hairs, as well as reduce the effect of all the black lines in the stamp.
