24 Tags of Christmas 2015: Zentangle Birds

November 14, 2015 by Sandy Allnock 110 Comments [featured_image}

Welcome to the 24 tags of Christmas series for 2015! I love putting this together each year. Well two years in a row at least! If you’d like to see last year’s day six tag, click HERE.

Zentangle Birds

Zentangle? Me? Oh man. I’ve been watching so many artists and crafters on instagram doing it, and I just had to give it a try. These birds from Prima couldn’t have been more perfect – all they needed after the zentangle was a little color – Brusho to the rescue! Check out the video below, or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube!

I hope you enjoyed the holiday music break! It helped me stay in the spirit as I edited….I’m so ready to tackle getting cards done next – I have soooooo many to get busy making! 🙂

Giveawayhandmadegiveaway

Handmade is the best kind of giveaway! Each year I give away all of the tags made in the series – so there will be 24 winners! To sweeten the pot, I am giving a financial donation to 24 charities in the name of each of the winners – so they’re going to get to pick which charity they love most.  To qualify to win, leave a comment on this post with YOUR favorite charity, and a comment on the YT video each day all week. I’ll pick 12 from blog comments and 12 from YouTube comments, and announce them all on Sunday the 15th!

Supplies

Below are links to the supplies I’ve used for today’s project; click on the wording to go directly to the item. Affiliate links may used, which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support toward the costs of running this blog! Read more.

    I really enjoy your simplistic Zentangling. And you are so quick (not just sped up). My favorite charity: Blue Star Mom’s.

    Wow! I love that you left the birds with the zentangle being black and white, then added pops of color with the watercoloring around them!!!
