This year, in many respects, has been pretty brutal. Just consider all the musicians, actors and actresses, icons of science and history who we’ve lost. We’ve been through a brutal electoral year, seen the world killing each other and Mother Nature wreaking havoc. I’ve had friends undergoing major medical issues, job problems, losses, and so much more. It’s enough to make you want to bubble wrap your favorite person to keep them safe from 2016!
In a year like this, it takes a special effort to really consider our blessings. It took me a while to ponder, that’s for sure…this past month having to replace my poor car, and having a really crazy cold – it took some effort to break through and consider all the amazing things that 2016 did bring. *See link list at the end of the post if you missed any of these things.

So 2016, farewell.
You’ve been a pain in the drain. But you’ve had your moments of redemption, too. We’re truly ready to put you behind us, though, don’t take it personally. Bring on 2017, and let’s make it a good one. Big plans are afoot!
Happy New Year Sandy. Hope your cold is better. Sorry you had to buy a new car :o(
All your work has been a real blessing to me and I just want you to know that.
What a new year! You have been one busy girl and thanks to you, I feel a bit wiser when it comes to so many techniques and things. Your tutorials have been so helpful and I know they have helped so many others as well. You have had so many blessings ( two sweet furbabies to cuddle) as well as trials. For me, this year was the year for a new knee and my great grandson was still battling cancer. Yet I feel blessed that he is responding to treatment. I am blessed with many new friends as well as some great friends I have had for years. I count you as a friend even though we have never really met. You have inspired me and given me strength when I need it. Yes, 2017 is going to be a year of good things. God bless.

Sandy, thank you so much for all that you share with us whether it be crafty things, your adorable pets or anything else. I am always so excited to see your blog posts come up in my Feedly. Happy 2017.
Thanks for the great reminder to think of the “glass half full”. No matter how bad things are, there are always blessings, there are always good things.
Health wise I pray it’s a better year. May we all be Happy and Blessed. May something make us laugh at least once a day and maybe we can make someone laugh or bring a smile to their face. Share a card with someone who needs it. Especially those in nursing homes or children’s hospitals.
Let’s all be more creative!
Thank you Sandy for all that you share with us!
