I think I deserve a cupcake! Haha….what a whirlwind week of video editing, uploading, and suddenly remembering that I hadn’t made a video public. Doh! I don’t think I’ll be pulling that again anytime soon

I also have a little exciting news! I finally got around to submitting cards in the last month for a couple pubs – and I just got an email from Paper Crafts – guess who gets a card pubbed later this year!! Woohoo! STOKED!
My lil cupcake is in the form of little birthday Anya – I used a sketch from Mojo Monday….this blog has been so scheduled lately I haven’t been able to post for many or any challenges lately!
I turned the sketch on its side, and rather than one little embellie I made a banner out of the reverse side of the Echo Park cupcake paper.
TGF images are so fun to color! Lots of big spaces, along with beefy outlines. Fun! Copic colors: Skin E53 and E51; Hair Black C7 and C5; Dress RV13 and B21; Cupcake YG03, RV13 and B000.

Hi Sandy NO wonder your card was picked for publicantion your work is lovely, cute and colorful and you make the little things work Some cardmakers make beautiful cards too – but expect you to spend HOURS distressing, cutting, painting, spraying, etc.. before it is done. I prefer your style. Have a lovely Sunday – sun FINALLY made an appearance here too.
