A little happy news, if you haven’t seen it yet: Ellen Hutson is open again! There’s a nice happy note on the top of her site, and you may have gotten an email too. YAY! You may find a bunch of things out of stock, but be patient, they’ve caught up on orders and now need to reorder things…depending on where manufacturers are and whether their states are open or not, it may take some time. But if you’re like me – just scrolling through, you’ll find some treats to order!

I enjoyed the Mod Flowers project I did back HERE – and since it was one of my more popular ones of late, I figured I’d do a takeoff on that technique in a smaller way – and I made a background full of butterflies with Paper Smooches’ Flutterby, set! Check it out in the video:

View on YouTube.

After the background was done, I diecut a frame die into it, and peeled out the skinny frame paper while leaving the tape on the front. I covered the card base with adhesive and laid the whole thing down; that left the open space to re-place the rectangle frame, but with the back facing up this time to create the inlaid white outline.

The sentiment die was adhered on then I added a bead of Glossy Accents to it to make it shiiiiine!

If anyone knows what kind of substance is in these markers, can you let me know? My hands have been stained for a couple days now, LOL!
