Hello friends! I’m excited to be participating in today’s Unity Stamps bloghop with some patriotic cards – as a benefit for Operation Write Home, too! (by the way I’m the founder/executive director…nice to meet you!) We just love the red white and blue for OWH, and these stamps are perfect for our service members. Big thanks to Unity for their support!
It’s always appropriate to use patriotic imagery on OWH cards – whether for AnyHero cards with notes inside, or for cards they can write home on! In today’s video I show you a little of both – as well as sharing the Misti that I just bought recently…I wasn’t sure I’d like it or use it, but I have a feeling I’ll get more use out of it than I had expected I would! (Especially when I prepare stamped images for classes…this will make it a dream!) The cardstock is Desert Storm, and inks are by Hero Arts. Enjoy the video below, or click HERE to watch in HD on YouTube.
Here’s a photo of the card opened up – so you can see the fun fold I created. Two patriotic cards out of one sheet of cardstock including the folding panel? Yes, please! Gotta love efficiency with paper!
To see more about my other cards shown in the video, hop over to the OWH Stars and Stamps blog – and follow along on the whole bloghop to get inspiration for more that can be done with the Ragged Old Flag stamps!
Here’s the bloghop list – be sure to start at the top over at Unity!
Hope you enjoy making some patriotic cards out of these great stamps from Unity!
