You guys can weigh in on this…I’m sick, so maybe I need to look at this tomorrow morning and see what I think of it then….but: it combines the three challenges on the Paper Smooches blog in one card. Pink, a sketch, and a one-layer card.
How many colors did I use? A ton. And I’m too fuzzy to really write them down, so…here they are. lol.

You’re going to love this card in the morning. It’s bright and cheery. I don’t know how you did it!!! When I am sick everything turns out gray and gloomy.
I think it works. The sketch isn’t screaming out at you, but no one says it has to be obvious! The coloring is awesome as is all of the masking you had to do with the clouds. I love how you have the rain on one side and the sun coming out of the clouds on the other. You’re clever even when you’re under the weather!
OMG!!! This card is soooo cheery and bright!!! I just love it!!! I love how the light of the rainbow shines light onto some of the clouds!!! You really know how to show lighting!

Poor you – feel better soon. Yes I made a card – in fact I handled 600+ cards as that is how many I received on the day of our deadline for receiving Christmas cards before shipment date here at OSH in Denmark. I am busy counting and labelling as I write but needed a break so went here to see what you ad been up to. Cute card with lots of action even though only one layer. The card is adorable! I had to look twice to realize I was seeing the whole card, not just a colored image, but then I realized “one layer” would mean just that! You must have had to design the layout and use a few different stamps to create it. Very cute!
Even when you’re under the weather you are so creative! I just want to crawl under the covers and sip 7-Up. I think when you are feeling better you’ll LOVE this card. I do.

I think it’s fab. I actually like the rain clouds better – a whole image of that would be fun as an art piece. (I like rainy clouds but do not like cold rain – go figure.)
