TGIF, little snowman!

Posted on Oct 12, 2012 | 15 comments

So very very glad to have survived the week! And this little snowman is happy too – can’t you tell by his little cocked head and cheeky smile? :) He’s also happy that I’m using up scraps as I go along making Christmas cards – I am determined to have nothing left at the end of the season! Really!

I’m not sure who makes this snowman…gold star to anyone finding a link! **Gold star goes to Suzanne E who provided me with the link to Snowflake Santa – why didn’t they call it snowMAN santa so I could find it? lol!*** Two of the papers are from Lawn Fawn (background and the crosshatch), and the one with the words is from October Afternoon. May Arts ribbon and a dollar sentiment top it off!

Copic colors: B000; R89, R29. Yeah, that’s really it!

  1. Sandy, you really are an inspiration! I hope one day to be as good as you at layering and coloring! Keep up the good work!

  2. Very cute card – really a neat “sketch” and A+ for using up scraps! The scrap wrangler would be proud of you.

  3. Great color mix – cool blues and reds. Polar Bear looks very happy.

    • Polar bear? Really. Sorry. Snowman looks very happy. I need another cup of coffee.

  4. Hi Sandy – he looks like a Whipper Snapper snowman… I would think their name would be on the stamp though. Hampton Art carried the same artist for awhile, so maybe it’s from them! Super, super cute and how awesome if you don’t have anything left at the end of the season! I’ll never be able to say that! waaah… hehe

    • All I have is the rubber – I did a terrible job of unmounting years ago when I didn’t care too much about who made what. Now that I actually want to give credit – I want to slap the old me! I did look through the WS site and didn’t see this one, so maybe it’s a discontinued one….

      • See, I thought I was the only one… I knew it was WS but looked thru all their snowmen & no success. He’s a cutie regardless; I mean, really… have you ever seen an unattractive or not-so-adorably-cute snowman??? …yeah, me either. great card, as always Sandy!

  5. The colors look so pleasing to the eye. Very nice! :)

  6. That is an adorable stamp and I can’t believe you only used 3 markers. Love your cards. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I have been coughing like a chain smoker from bronchitis I picked up on a plane ride back from Paris 3 weeks ago! At least I wasn’t sick in Paris, but this is no fun.

  7. Ca-ute!!! I collect, ahem, hoard, Christmas junk the most. I could probably go about 5 years & not *need* anything else. But where’s the fun in that, eh?

  8. We’re supposed to use up scraps?

Darling card once again. I agree too, it looks like a WSD. Good luck finding out.

  9. I love that little snowman. It is a Whipper Snapper one called Snowflake Santa – http://www.whippersnapperdesigns.com/gallery/snowmen/cy801a.html

    • Ohhhh well that’s why I couldn’t find it – they called it santa??? LOL! Thanks!

  10. So adorable!

  11. OMGosh, how CUTE is he!!! “Cheeky” is right!!!
