Swimming Lucy with a Labadoozie!

I took a stab at this month’s SFYTT – here’s the sketch….deceptively simple (click on the sketch to go to the post you can add your card to!):

I flipped mine horizontally…the image is by my friend Sparkle – and this is SO what I want to be doing today instead of being at the office! Summer has finally arrived at my house, and all I want to do is go bake in it. Well, til I get hot and whine and come inside. Which happens a lot. But whatever. I digress. You’d think I actually had a Labadoozie!* see end of post!

I pulled out my Two Scoops pad from Bazzill and picked out some fun papers…And with that tiny strip, I decided to pull out some Crate Paper border stickers too.

Copic colors: Skin – E53, E51; Inner tube – YG23, B93, both colored over themselves to give it just a tiny bit of roundedness; Hair – Y07 and Y35; bathing suit BV02 and BV00. I added a wee bit of B00 in the flower. W2 was used to make the little outline.

The Labadoozie is a drink I fell in BIG love with on the cruise. It is made of pure awesomeness. And maybe a little more.

1/2 oz Orange Juice Concentrate
1/2 oz Pineapple Juice Concentrate
1/2 oz Papaya Juice Concentrate
1/2 oz Coconut Cream
3/4 oz Dark Rum
3/4 oz Coconut Rum
1/4 oz Grenadine
Crushed ice

That’s about it for today….feel free to let me know if you make a Labadoozie and like it – I’m not a drinker, but this makes me think having a little flask of some rum hanging around could be helpful… :)
