Stampers Best: “My Country”

Mar 29, 2012 by

Have you checked out all the Stampers Best images? They’ve got a bunch that are so great for AnyHero cards in particular…this one is called “My Country.” I decided to use this week’s Deconstructed Sketch….

The navy card base sets off these papers from Echo Park – I have a little left in a 6×6 and I’m hoping to get them used up and empty my desk of yet one more thing :) Yeah!

I created a little focal point at the bottom, tying a knot around the big star and surrounding it by smaller stars too.

  3. This is one of the most beautiful cards you have made since I have been involved with OWH. I really like the contrast of reds and blues – I like the red background paper the best. Awesome!

  4. Gorgeous card Sandy!

  5. Beautiful layers! I really like what you’ve done with the stars. Stars are such a great design element–there’s just something about them! Thanks for sharing!

  6. Great card — love how you tied the ribbon around the stars. I bought that stamp but had not used it yet. You’ve inspired me to get it out and try my hand at a card. Yes, I agree — Stamper’s Best does have some great images. I really like this sketch too. It works perfectly with this stamp. Thanks!

You’ve done it again — made an exquisite card. I’m a big fan of stripes and polka dots, so this really caught my eye. When I start my own deconstructing of the bits and layers, it is all the more stunning. I, too, like the ribbon around the star. Nice!! See you tonight on OWHtv.
