Sketch card: Lawn Fawn

Posted on Sep 3, 2012 | 5 comments

Woohoo! I got to make a card for a sketch sample for Stars and Stamps! :) :) :) And I am so darned thrilled that Lawn Fawn is partnering with OWH this week. Their owner, Kelly Marie, is the sweetest gal around – and is soooo passionate about getting her readers to help out our heroes with kids cards!

I used this darling little Lawn Fawn image from Critters on the Farm for the bonus sketch – isn’t he the happiest lil sheep around! All the papers here are from their Bright Side pack. The card base is cut short so the circle can pop up – while still fitting into an A2 envelope. For the wavy sentiment, I put the stamp on the block in a wave, then trimmed it out on the same curve.

  1. too, too cute! love that lawn fawn paper….I’ve been wanting that 6×6 pack but can’t find it locally! (and hate to pay S&H if I don’t have to!)

    • Penny, the price at Oozak will make you smile, they carry the whole Lawn Fawn line :)

  2. Really like how you used the fence at the point where the two papers meet – very clever. Great sketch, great card!

  3. Adorable!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Another beautiful card. I wished I had your creative mind. You can take anything and make it into something beautiful. Have a great Labor Day!
