Bird week: MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE! (Seaside Seagulls Card)

Welcome to Accidental Bird Week! There’s no international holiday celebrating our feathered friends, no reason to celebrate birds except that…well….I noticed I had three bird cards scheduled. So we’re gonna call it a holiday week!

MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE! (Seaside Seagulls Card)

These MFT seagulls crack me UP. I can totally “hear” them gathering on the dock and yelling “MINE” over each other, everyone wanting that one chip. Can you hear them too??? Watch the video below or click HERE to see it in HD on YouTube.

There’s a “MINE” word in one of the sentiments if you want to stamp it instead of writing it, but it was quick to just write the word. (And then no one has a heart attack watching me cut a sentiment stamp. LOL)

  1. As always, your talent just shines brightly! Love this fun set and the ingenious way in which you used it! Thanks so much for the inspiration and awesome tutorial! You are the best!!!

  2. This set is on my “want, drool, have to have, but ….” list…..so of course I just had to see how you did it. Your cards are so much fun and I love to watch your coloring!!!! Thanks!

  3. I love your cards and humor.

  4. When I grow up I want to colour just like you! LOL
    Just sweet!

  5. So much fun. I will have to try this. I have that stamp set.

  6. Wonderful video, not only did you show what can be done with the stamp set( I too thought I could not use it), and then you show in detail how you created the background, such a great lesson! Totally agree on the idea of a class on clouds, with markers and watercolours, but also a class on how to create backgrounds for different scenes; hopefully this is not too much to ask…

  7. Many times I look at a stamp set and think, I don’t know what I would do with it. But, then I see what you have done with that set and suddenly I WANT THAT SET! Thanks for expanding my brain to see what can be, and thanks for reminding me to use my imagination and just go for it!

  8. So cute!

  9. ! Love the one with the chip, thanks for the video.

  10. Love this card. I just had to have that stamp set when I first saw it. It’s one of my favourites x

  11. I LOVE these adorable seagulls, Sandy! Super cute and makes me think of summer!

  12. Awesome card. Saw a bunch of these guys last week.

  13. Funny card – isn’t it Salt Lake City that has a monument to the Seagull? But showing one with a potato chip is just the best! Thanks, also for the great tips on coloring backgrounds with clouds – I struggle a bit also – maybe we need a cloud class next – with Copics AND watercolorst!!!

What did you think? Leave me your thoughts!
