Yes, glitter can be a really dangerous thing. Not just for our heroes, either. Your husband could walk past your craft room and be taunted for glitter on his suit. Your kids might get glitter in their eye, and you know the whining that will ensue. And more importantly – our heroes could be made visible to night vision goggles! So….I decided that for the “Bling your name” challenge over at Oozak,, I’d help all the crafters to be safer as they work. (And the “name” in the “bling your name” challenge here? The porcupine is on SANDY soil. Yep. I’m stretchin’ it.)
I’m guessing Rusty might not be fussing at me any more for glitter videos. LOL.
Now be sure to leave a comment on the video – so you can win the now famous (infamous?) cannister of GLITTER – and let me know if you think I should auction off the safety helmet on ebay? lol!

Great video Sandy! Thanks for all the great safety tips you shared!!! I especially loved the way you decorated your safety helmet!!!
Girl! You are tooooooo much!!! I can’t believe all the trouble you went to for a 7.5 minute video! Thanks for the laugh to start off the weekend!
Love that safety helmet!
You make me laugh, Thanks for such an Awesome job!
Really Cute Card
Simple design really showcases the snowglobe
Thanks so much….was the first time I laughed out loud at a video in a long time!
Sandy…. you are a nut…. A very sweet nut and we love you dearly…. thanks for the laugh to start our week end. It fit right in for a Labor Day One, LOL. Keep your wonderful cards coming.
I love the wacky video and Thank You for taking the time to make them.
Oh My I just spit out my breakfast laughing. You are the best. That was alot of work and I think Ciara might be wondering ( she has really went coo coo now) I will be trying the glossy accent . Thank you Enjoy your holiday week-end.
Fun video Sandy. I rarely use glitter and it IS SO messy, but your ideas are great. I especially like the box idea.
I think you should keep the ultra-special hard hat – and make more and more – and put them for sale with the t-shirts – seriously! I am seeing a flash mob doing YMCA – with OWH as the lyrics instead!
You are an amazing hoot. What a great way to introduce this technique. Your friends must laugh all the time with you.
Oh, by the way, I think you must be looking at yourself in that adorable hardhat. I know it fascinated me.
This is hilarious! I love it!
hahahaha that was awesome and you went to all that trouble to protect the room and the spider you found to look and got gliter’d too. hehehe JK Love, Love, Love the hat.

What an enjoyable video, but may I said your are a little nuts, but in a good way. Have a great day and thanks for a good laugh.
OH MY GOODNESS!!!! You are just too funny. I love the tips on making the snowglobe and of course protecting myself and family! What were you looking at? Well, I think it was probably the stray bits of glitter that got away from you and you were being sure to not let them out of your sight so you could capture them later! Thanks for this fun and informative video!
This was just tooo cute. You are so creative. Thank you for all of your great videos. Were you looking at the clock to make sure you weren’t running over in time, or at the chat room?
You absolutely crack me up, Sandy – your expressions as you were “waiting overnight for it to dry” were just hilarious! All in all, a very cute card but I’m still not bringing glitter anywhere near my place. As for what you were looking up at, I’m guessing it was your computer monitor. Thank you for all you do to make your videos fun & informative.
Loved the video and the card. What a great way to start the morning with a good laugh. Are you looking up so that you don’t have to look at the dreaded glitter? Thanks for sharing.
HAHAHA! You captured exactly how I feel about glitter! Whenever I do use a bit of it, it’s like I’m working with a dangerous microbe in a biohazard zone.
Way too funny. I love the fact that you have a t-shirt on where you are running with scissors in a glitter safety video. Thanks for the laugh.
I thnk you were looking at yourself in the mirror to see if you looked beautiful !!
I have never liked glitter (even before getting involved with OWH), but I LOVE your safety video! Today was the perfect day for me to watch it…I really needed a reason to laugh. Thanks!
What a delightful video! It brought back a memory of us walling off a room in that plastic sheeting, drywalling & sanding, then when we removed it, the ‘dust’ had stuck by static electricity to it and we made a bigger mess! I could just see the glitter jumping onto the statically-charged sheeting and spreading/exploding everywhere!

Thanks for the memory!! Imagination extraordinaire!
