Tomorrow is the big day – finding out about the May Arts DT! You’ll get the weekend vlog a day late….I’ll either make the “congrats to all the winners” video or the “OMG I’m IN!” video live – ack! Feels like Christmas eve
And…..I’m starting off a week of sharing cards with images by Robert Jackson! Who’s that, you ask? He’s a new-to-me artist with some great African American digi images – a new challenge for me in coloring! So many of our service members are African American, and I know they’d love to have some cards with familiar looking faces on them – and I just love that Robert’s are “normal” people. I’ve seen some super – African ones (Zulus in native costumes etc), but he’s got kids on tricycles, families, and so much more.
This one is superCAS – just highlighting the image itself…Chef Phebe. With no sentiment, this could be sent by a hero for a birthday, as a thank you for homebaked brownies, or just for someone at home who loves to bake ….Or at least lick the bowl, eh? Are you a bowl-licker like me? (That’s the best part of baking!)

Copics: E77, E18, E35…RV23 for the lips. Spoon E31, outfit B32 and B000 with B95 pants, RV29 bowl, and W3 &W0 fqor the outline to set i toff. I used silver pearl pen for the buttons, and added just a little brown pearl pen for the yummies in the bowl. MMMMM! Now I wanna bake…fortunately it’s cool enough here that I could if I wanted to.

If you decide to attempt some of Robert’s images – let him know I sent ya!

i WILL HAVE TO go check out this images – love the simlicity
I have been trying my hand at coloring other ethnicities myself. It looks like you nailed it here.
I love your card, and your coloring. The art is fabulous!! I am very intimidated `by coloring dark skin, but I would love to try it.
Pat out of everyone I know, you shouldn’t be intimidated. You color wonderfully! Think of it as a challenge but not one you can’t conquer – it’s just something new to learn
Love this, Sandy! Thanks for the new artist introduction!
