Praying

I’m very sad to pass on the news that Dee passed away. :( One of our crafters has a daughter living in Dee’s town, and saw it in the newspaper. *sigh* Today’s card will go to her family.

The praying hands stamp hasn’t got a manufacturer on the wood…it was given to me by a friend for use by my church. I’ll be likely teaching cardmaking classes in the fall, if the current plan happens. I’ll be having them make two of whatever we do, and they keep one and give the other to the pastoral care team. (This card is of course NOT going to be the class card – way too advanced for the newbies!) The stickers are by American Crafts (from my Studio Calico kit) but I can’t find you a link online.

  1. Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry to learn that Dee lost her battle with cancer. I hope in her final moments she was able to enjoy the cards that were made for her. Hopefully her family will know by the outpouring of love how much she was thought of and respected by those of us who never got to meet her.
